Currently have Alpina and am very satisfied with it. Had Planika too, super, when needed weren't available (Planika bankruptcy), now getting them again. Think Slovenian producers super for footwear and swear by them.nasmeh

Alpina is a really expensive shoe, but now their stores have several discounts with point cards and newspaper cards, discount also with mountaineering club membership. They have a factory outlet too, and models with minor defect, just ask around and find a way and prices drop. lp, Vanjanasmeh

And my opinion too. I have Planika shoes, so far no complaints, husband some cheaper ones bought on discount. After 3 months of use had to send back to reglue them. That's always how it is and it holds! Little money, little music. Same with backpack bought on Pikina card. Won't buy such discounts anymore.
Nice greetings!

I meant the card where you pay with cash and earn points, you can also use them in their stores, I mean in Planika - you can also buy in Planika with the Pikina credit card. Products are from Planika, not from China.

Currently I have Planika shoes. Satisfied with them. Before I wore Alpina, I'd say an A1 shoe. Don't skimp on shoes. Lp FRANCnasmeh

Half a year ago I bought hiking boots ASOLO Power Matic 400 GV and I am very satisfied with them. The only thing that bothers me is that they untie several times during walking. I wonder if there are any special lacing methods to fix this? Thanks everyone for the help.

I recommend double tying. That is, when you make the bow, just repeat the procedure.

Over the bow just a regular knot, and no problems eithernasmeh

Hi, I also had the same problems with untying the boots. Well, now I always make a double knot, and they don't untie anymore, not even once.

I've had Planika (Lhotse I think) for a few years and if they still sold such I'd buy them again. Super satisfied with them, no issues from new, no blisters or anything. Definitely better boots exist but these are excellent for me.mežikanje

My personal opinion is that all footwear under known brands is quality. Everyone has a different foot shape and gait and must figure out which model suits them best. Each maker has their own lasts and once you find which one fits best, the choice is no longer difficult. Only the decision remains about what needs the individual has and how deep into the pocket you are willing to reach. No footwear is eternal and even if not worn, it slowly disintegrates.

I also have Asolo Power Matic 400 and they are really super. Bought similar from Meindl too, but last doesn't fit me, so now in closet. All hiking boots (unless bought in Lidl, Hofer, Spar) are quality, depends on individual which suit best. That's why great that Annapurna store lends boots for tryout, as putting on feet you can't be sure ok, find out on first tour and ouch if not right.

For all who want to buy ASOLO boots but not pay so much, a bit further from Opčine(IT) in village Prosek shop Papi Sport.
Just to compare, I bought Asolo Flame model in Prosek 106 Eur. In Ljubljana and in SLO generally 174.50 EUR.
Who takes almost 70 EUR commission?

That's how it goes--- company LOGOS imports them to SLO and then distributes to local shops: 3sport, Alpin sport, Annapurna etc.
Everyone must earn something, agree?!

P.S. thanks for the tip

Yes, I agree, but 70 EUR is a bit too much.
