Jerebičje, this solitary and beautiful part of our mountains, enchants me again and again. The path is less trodden than a year ago.

A trip to Jerebičje today also serves up plenty of beauties.
This time I leave the car at the larger parking lot before Logarska, from where by bike to Matk and further to Lesnikovo saddle. From the car to the saddle I slowly pedal for two hours, a good nine kilometers.
Higher up at the bend I park the bike, and go up by the hunting trail, down by the ridge. High grasses and heat on the path. Solitary, primordial, unique!
From Lesnikovo saddle I descend by mountain road to Austria to one of the bends, where I turn onto asphalt. About twenty minutes to Pavlič saddle, then enjoyably into the valley.

You know, the panoramic isn't as much to my liking as this loop I did today. To Lesnik it's much lonelier, the descent is the cherry on the cake!

Today for the first time up via the "ta gruševi" path.
In the morning in the cirque quite fresh, meadows greener than in the valley, and luckily there is still water.
Above Matko we turn from the road onto the path that takes us across the broken gully to the ladder, which serves as an orientation point so you know you're going the right way. Up and down through the forest to the next smaller gully, where the path pulls along the steep ridge to the left to the edge of the ridge. After a few exposed steps the path hides from us and then appears again. When the world opens up again, our nose pulls us to the solid edge, over which we climb higher with a short compact jump, from where there is a nice view towards Matkova kopa. We step back on the path after an annoying hairy descent to a smaller saddle. The view to the left attracts us to Matkovo sedlo, which is already close. To there the path hides from us again, so we reach it somewhat off the planned path. Very nice.
We descend via the "normalka", then around by road to the valley.

Then that's the upper path. Since when is there a ladder there?
Isn't “ta gruševa” the one that goes from Perk to Grintovc or Jerebičje?

Thinking about it, you're right, it really is the upper path. I knew about this section, but not that it's "gruševa". Then once on mapzs, while browsing I noticed that it says gruševa path. But whether that's true, I don't know. I went there for the first time now.
