Gams, Garmont probably wanted to say what the dimensions are. Is that bad? The path to Korosko waterfalls also starts nicely filled with fallen trees, so? You go around, it's nice to know what awaits you, how many extra minutes the detours take, right? LP

Today I walked the same loop as garmont above. Ascent via Presedljaj to Konj is super, path from Bela valley to top doesn't drag despite solid elevation difference.
Martinj path first time, lower 300m total mess, tons of climbing over fallen trees, path gone some places, takes way more time and energy than expected. Pity, path is nice otherwise.
Also tons of flies, tell me is it like this every year here?

Again asking for help.
Got a tip that the path from Podvolovljek to Konj and Rzenik is even nicer than from Kamniška Bela. Is it possible to do circular tour Podvolovljek-Lonec-Grofov Štant-Presedljaj-Konj-Rzenik-Planina Dol-Preval Prag-back to Podvolovljek? And how about markings. If someone was there, asking for help.
Konj is overall the first peak I conquered in the Alps and therefore very dear to me!

From Praga down not marked, mostly no path either. Up top still OK hunters' trail, then gradually disappears; but drawn on maps. For us in contra direction didn't succeed, but due to weather and conditions (good month ago) and not much missing.

Yesterday to Konj from the direction of Kraljev hrib. Up to planina Dol icy only at a few spots, and even those can be bypassed. From planina Dol the path is entirely snowy, packed and the snow doesn't sink (yet). But quite slippery. The small crampons were enough.

Today on Konj over Presedljaj. From Presedljaj to the top partly frozen snow, partly ice, mostly a couple cm powder snow. All fixed protections out.

Today on Konj over Presedljaj. Probably after you, during snow blizzard. In 20 mins about 10 cm snow fell. No markings visible, ice hidden under fresh snow, despite gear due to wind and heavy snowing turned back halfway from Presedljaj to Konj, descent not pleasant at all.

Has anyone been to Konj these days, wondering if there's still any snow on the path from Planina Dol? Planning to go on Wednesday 29.4, don't have winter gear...

I was up there today via Presedljaj. Then down to planina Dol and home. Both sides are completely dry. Even the sun shone on the top. Nice day without wind and without people. Didn't meet a single hiker on the whole path.

Hello.
Interested if there's a path..trail from Lučka Bela to Presedljaj and then to Konj. I know you can go to Dedec and then to Presedljaj... is there any 'shorter' path? On the map there's a dashed path directly from Šibje. Has anyone tried it? Regards

Last year I had similar plans, but didn't find neither the little path from Šibje nor the higher one from Vratice a bit before Stari štali. Well, I found the latter, but it disappeared after two minutes. These are probably old hunting trails that nobody uses anymore and have overgrown with scrub. There are quite a few elsewhere in the Julians and Karawanks too.

From above, passages between the pines are visible. Probably no problem to approach Presedljaj. But no trail visible.
Is that road below drivable?

The road is drivable. Today went looking for the path...didn't find it. There are several little paths as 'Dragon' wrote, but they are in poor condition. About 50-100m before the path to Presedljaj my trail became impassable (a few meters over very crumbly, steep terrain without grip on solid surface), so I had to turn back.

10.08.2015. Konj
Start from Korošica or Kocbekov dom where I slept after conquering Planjava. Ascent to Prag and then crossing over pastures and scree and descent to Presedljaj. Climbing to Konj which I reached after a bit more than two hours... Konj is overall the first peak I conquered in KSA and it was very nice to return to it.
Now Rzenik was also planned, but somehow didn't spot the branch for it in the scree... Quickly over Kanclj to planina Dol.
Here the plan was to find and descend via Martinjeva trail, but simply couldn't find that trail so I rather returned on the known path through Dolski graben. Nice thing, but when you descend to the forest road the marks disappear... went to Paintball and out to Kraljev hrib.
And so my two-day circular tour in KSA ended... Hope this year won't be the final one, because in the ninth month ascent to Rinka is planned...
Question - are the waters at the springs above and below Presedljaj drinkable?

From upper cable car station at Vel.pl. past Zeleni rob, pl.Konjščica to pl.Dol, pl.Rzenik to Konj, back the same way. Total walking 4:15 hours, total ascent 1200m
