I see that Tadej went on this path again. We did it together in 2018. Yesterday PD Škofja Loka section VGN did it. As mountain guard I have to be there. The road is currently being renovated. Then the goal was Dom on Košenjak, which was already open. Our main goal was of course Košenjak and searching for the coveted Koch's gentian or gentian. If you will. On the top of Košenjak there is a stand of this desired flower. Along forest paths along the border with Austria we continued to Kozji vrh and to the church of St. Urban. All along the border with Austria we descended to the village Pernice, where we had ordered a hot snack at farm tourism. It was excellent, just need to order in advance. They cook excellently - highly recommend.

On Saturday we went from Dravograd to Košenjak. Up over Goriški vrh, down via Ojstrica. Path well marked, muddy in places, last part to the summit icy here and there, but no need for crampons. Just a bit of snow at the top.
