Afternoon easy walk to Krim, started a couple of kilometers from the main road leading to Rakitna. Past the hunting hut and to the top, met no one.

The path was trodden on 3.1 in the afternoon, but it's supposed to snow again today.

Path from Iška vas nicely trodden. Today no fog even at Gornji Ig. Really nice day with magnificent views.

Podpeč - Sv. Ana and along the connecting ridge to Planince then to Krim. Elevation gain around 800m, weather wonderful, only all the snow that fell overnight and stuck to trees ended up down my neck today on the path. Snow cca 30cm, but high temps already melting it. Hut on Krim open all days till 17h - closed Mondays.

Snow from Iška onwards, initially little, at Krim summit well over snowshoe edge, but settles quickly.
Some broken trees, mainly below Zgornji Ig, but all can be bypassed.

By bike to Krim from Iška vas via Gornji Ig and descent on the other side past Preserje and Jezero. Nice loop.  Still time to enjoy the last warm days. Macadam road from Gornji Ig to the top is also very nicely done so you can manage even with narrower tires (aka trekking). Well, not exactly with a road bike...

Iška-Krim...at start snow to ankles, higher up dumped about 30-40 cm...so gaiters very handy....otherwise path without features.....up top blue sky and view all around...real winter idyll, probably like many other places.... ...I had the privilege to break the "track" almost to the top, because those from Strahomerja were even earlier...

Iška-Krim...path dry and not muddy at all. Only on the last few meters some "patches" of ice, but can bypass left or right. Depending which side you prefer...

Iška-Krim: The path is dry, only from the last sign, which marks 20 min walk to the top, there is some snow and ice on the path. In the early hours, when it's still all frozen, it could be quite "interesting".

Sometimes post some pictures from Krim! Probably most hribi.net users visit the pages because of the pictures. E.g., I have no plan to go to Krim in the near future, but I still checked because I was curious what the pictures from Krim would show.

Yesterday I was on Krim. The path below the summit is extremely icy and requires a good dose of caution, despite the technically easy tour. At the top, sunshine in hope of imminent spring.
