Variable but acceptable conditions. It's warm enough that everything is soft. If it all freezes, it could be interesting.

This afternoon no living souls anywhere, towards the top snow was falling lightly. Path wet and slippery in places (from Iška), but nothing special.

For info and action, a bear mother with two cubs has crossed my path twice from Iška to Krim, a bit below the summit. Since she wasn't shy at all and was right by the path, I really didn't want to argue with her big so I turned back preventively.

Judging by her size, she could even weigh 250 kg, better to retreat and not risk your life, she has a strong blow with the paw, because it breaks a cow's neck let alone a human's.

I have no experience with bears and it would be hard to estimate her weight, but by eye she seemed quite large-framed.

Oh dear, really? I thought there were none just below the summit. Yesterday I went to Krim for the first time, I gathered courage for a long time precisely because of bears. I live opposite Krim, first morning view is on it. Oh... and I wanted to take the kids. sad

Yes, a bear that size breaks a cow's neck, so it's not smart to walk around her, smile, if you want, otherwise they retreat, kids in backpack and gas, smile

Read the attached article and then cheerfully to Krim.

Today on Krim. I expected sunny weather, but at the top I experienced a different scene... Otherwise a careful step is needed, as leaves cover where you step. Also, a large part of the path is damp and slippery.
Fog, like in the middle of winter... nice1

Today from Iška to Krim. Parking lot "bursting at the seams". Huge crowds. Just below Gornji Ig, a real mess after summer storm when trees broke. But now views have opened up that weren't there before. Path onwards to summit as usual. Wonderful views. nasmeh

Today to Krim via normal route from Iška. Nice weather, good air and crowds. In seven years of visiting Krim it seems to me that the upper part of the path has never been so overgrown and trampled as now. Pleasant.

Our nature conservationists gave us the idea, let's go to Krim. One group from Iška, two hours' walk. Second group drove higher and shortened the path a bit. Path dry, some mud. Nicely laid through forest, some steeper parts. Company was colorful, all gathered at summit in hut. Met stars of this portal too, their tours are really amazing, but obviously, they go to Krim too. Spring in the air, spring flowers too, snowdrops, hepatica, liverleaf...

Hello, which path to Krim would you recommend for a group of about 50 participants, aged 7 to 70? Ascent and descent on different paths. Tour in April. Regards

For such a group the most suitable ascent path is from village Preserje. At start below sv. Ana there is large parking. Bus drops you there, you continue on foot. (ca. 2 hours 30 min needed for ascent). With stop at chapel sv. Tomaž at Planinci a bit more.
For descent you can use path over Rotovc to Rakitno. If you don't feel like walking to Rakitno, bus can pick you up at so-called Brancljeva senožet (NOB monument, memorial plaque between two hayracks).
Have a nice time.
