Kr. Gora - Mojstrana - Krma - Kot - Mojstrana - Kr. Gora
With a colleague we had hardtails, hardtail bike or fully, Kot is too rough for trekking.

Somewhere into the mountains I drive to the starting point for Kot, leave the car at the main road and walk to the viewpoint (altitude around 1100m), which offers a view of the Kot valley. I go back a bit, then go to see the waterfalls and back to the starting point, then also to Jerebikovec.
at the end of the trailhead for those going by car, approx. 4 km walking1

here I conclude, no one would go further as it's dangerous higher up, falling rocks, melting snow, small avalanches...7
I look at the waterfalls8

Well-maintained road to Krma, free massage and even tested if bumper holds well. Not once, multiple times. If you want to meet, you must run over dry branches, ideal for accidents, then get free car care from hanging bushes. Don't worry, car low value, no boredom, I like the road, especially parking on tree roots.

Question, if maybe someone knows... Are they making parking lots at Pocar? And, does that mean some traffic restriction is coming to Krma too?

Not many, but considerably more than the current ones for about 5 cars. At least for winter there will be some more order.nasmeh

Thanks, I assumed it's probably meant to arrange parking mainly for winter... looks quite big all together, so compared to current parking it will really be a big "upgrade"...

Today by bike in Kurja vas just during the police visit.
Given that the roads to Krma and Kot are officially closed due to storm damage, all those caught in the valley will receive fines.
Until further notice, the Kovinarska hut in Krma is also closed.nasmeh

Precisely because of mechanical clearing and logging the road is closed.
I can't imagine that in this forest mess the loggers with heavy machines would have to make way for hikers in cars.nasmeh

jbs,
after Vrbanci I chatted with a local, also about Triglav valleys and traffic. At Pocar they say the valley closure starts, similar to Vrata. Ramp, parking fee, traffic restrictions one way or another . . . For Kot the guy said they don't care much about this valley, saying it's not as "touristy" as Krma, especially Vrata . . . zavijanje z očmi

Probably the reason is the harsh winter and huge amounts of snow that prevent normal work... possibly also the provider of the payment system for the ramp at the entrance went bankrupt and their procedures got delayed a bit...mežikanje

Real mockery of nature lovers and mountaineers. PZS does nothing...

PZS is actually the first organization that needs a serious cleanup. Such ignorance amid all that's happened in recent years (paid access on every gravel patch, barriers, rise in accidents and consequent bleating about paid solutions, state of bivouacs and some paths,..) is truly unbelievable. As if they were PZJ(Yugoslavia), the only thing they care about when collecting fees is the Planinski vestnik. Goats they are.

PZS in some way started to "disintegrate" with the construction of the rescue road to Zelenica. The mountaineering public and the Slovenian branch of Mountain Wilderness (V.Grošelj, I.Mrak) protested sharply against the destruction of nature, including marked hiking trails, but PZS did nothing. The second episode was the removal of Aljaž Tower from Triglav, relocation to the museum, fortunately Ekar's project failed. There too we raised our voice and gathered on the summit itself, so the project under PZS auspices stopped. And more and more of this and that, PZS does nothing. I myself wrote to the PZS trails commission years ago that above Krma there is no signpost for Bohinjska vratca and Vodnikov dom, no response, two years later I read that people still get lost there or look for the junction because it's overgrown and unmarked.
Parking at starting points in Triglav valleys and many other places is definitely a problem that needs solving. PZS should actively participate, specifically by finding or negotiating the most favorable solution for its members, not constantly barking that valleys should be closed, that people should walk more, that public transport should be introduced, etc.
Actually I agree with the elder of some GRS section who thinks PZS has become some sort of family-friendship company zavijanje z očmi

This way reminds me of our government's behavior when it doesn't speak up when Italy turns lies into truth at the monument in Bazovica on February 10th more every year and when Italy and Croatia confirm the agreement on the economic division of the Adriatic Sea. Our government also nothing, as if it doesn't concern Slovenia.
Otherwise nothing fits under this title, but all this is burying head in the sand, and pretending there's no problemjezen
