Yesterday from Zidani Most with ferry across Sava and through Škrata valley to Kum. On Kum sun and pleasant hut. Return by road to Trbovlje.

Many times already on Kum, but yesterday first from Hrastnik, no description on hribi, so we chose this path based on map.
I have to admit this path is very interesting, nicely routed trail that steeply gains elevation at start, well marked too.
Path goes through Luža village, beautiful hamlet with wonderful views, but few this time, same for walking visitors in hut, most drive up for Sunday lunch. nasmeh

But one question about weather forecast velik nasmeh

... do they no longer update weather data on this site, as on Saturday when I checked, sun was forecast. Was a bit surprised but believed anyway, but already at start drizzling, raining, higher snowing, fog wind, well like on Peč, so no photos except with phone.

How much snow is there? Better check the weather also on the ARSO site and zevs association forecast, because the weather changes fast in the last month and a half. So it's not strange if the forecast here doesn't follow.

Mud up to Luža village, then naturally increases with altitude, towards the top some 30-40 cm. Don't hold me to my word, approximate estimate, path is trodden also from Trbovlje direction where there are drifts, windblown snow another matter. nasmeh

Correct, 30-50 cm there is, but paths from all sides trodden, gaiters not needed...

Yesterday I ascended Kum from Hrastnik, descended to Zidani Most, which I reached with Cicko. Above around 1000 m still up to around 20 cm snow, lower it quickly diminishes.
Ride with Cicko across Sava really special experience.

On Monday my wife and I were at Javorci and met Milan there. Word led to word and we quickly arranged to check an unexplored path to Križevnik yesterday. Yesterday morning Milan picks me up and towards Luče. But already in Nazarje we see how it's cloudy above Menina, even more towards Raduha. To the east it was all sunny, so we turn around and in Šentrupert decide for Kum. We park in the yard of Milan's daughter. At the house two hunters who somewhat reluctantly mežikanje

tell us where a hunting path from Šklendrovec starts, which Milan has planned to take to Kum for a long time. The path led us across Šklendrovec stream along very steep ridge of Krvava peč to first summit Slivec and further to Planina. The ridge offers pleasant scrambling among very diverse flowers. In the lower part lots of lily-of-the-valley just starting to bloom, higher mostly fragrant dog's-tooth-violet which intoxicated us with pleasant scent. To Rumenovka flowers gradually decrease, but walking in spring mostly beech forest still very pleasant. At every step we notice game traces, but don't see any. We continue over Vetršica and Kozlova gora, where we reach marked path from Zagorje. Along it further everywhere only ramsons, which we pick on return for home. Return weather favorable too and we spent nice pre-holiday day in Zasavje hills. Today for info snowing here like mid-winter. eek

Can you advise which path is the nicest or which hikers praise the most. I want the experience or rather transport with Cicko but don't know what the path to the top is like after.

From Hrastnik ascent to Kum and descent to Zagorje ob Savi...That's the right one! Definitely interesting could be also from Radeče ascent and descent to Litija...With cicko from Zidani Most and classic from Trbovlje of course...Lp

if we go to Kum from Hrastnik we go through village Župa and not Luža nasmeh

Župa is Zasavje name for soup!.

Today from Zagorje ob Savi to Kum over Završje and Čebulova dolina. Conditions excellent. In the air already "smells" autumn, although leaves on trees mostly still green. Path well marked. But first ascent to village Završje quite "steep".

And thanks to hut keeper who kindly treated me to 0.5 H2O. velik nasmeh

Today on Zasavje Triglav. With colleague we took it from Zidani Most with cicko along škratova dolina to top and descended to Trbovlje.
Whole path is top, except fallen tree on path to Trbovlje.
