@hribovc88.... thanks for the kind wishesnasmeh, luckily no fracture, although I smacked the rock hard with my hand when tumbling; wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't experienced it myself; bestmežikanje

So not only paragliders have trouble with wind. Interesting Friday weather (11.3), when in mountains blowing very little or nothing at all, in valley strong wind and very turbulent. When I flew from Grintovec slopes I had 3m/s westerly in mountains over 10m/s in valley. Paraglider closing on me like crazy, flew also 65km/h.zmedennasmeh

After lunch with dog to Lepenatka. Parked a bit before St. Lenart, up through "end of road" to summit, return via Kal saddle to pl.zg. Špeh and back to chapel. On summit quite strong wind, so didn't go to Rogatec.
At Črnivec pass surprised by bare slopes, consequence of windthrow. Cleared whole pass.
Haven't been to Lepenatka for over 10 years, so negatively surprised by forest roads for extraction under Lepenatka, past St. Lenart and under Rogatec almost to Kal saddle. Before just hiking trails. l.p.

In spring days mountains in mid-mountains worth visit already for flowers, if you also enjoy nice view and solitude, that's really all.

Today from Črnivec to Kranjska reber (Kašni vrh), where really wonderful views all around. Then descent to hut on Kašna planina and on towards Lepenatka, where clouds gathered very quickly and shower sadly prevented continuation to Veliki Rogatec.

Except some fallen trees, no special features on path and normally passable.

On Sunday, 8.5., my girlfriend and I went to the hills to check from afar the conditions in the KSA mountains.

From Velenje, the drive to the starting point took one hour. To Lepenatka we took the ridge on the sunny side; it was pleasantly warm, no cloudy wind yet, but it appeared on the summit. On the summit there was a nice view of the surrounding hills and mountains. From the NE we soon saw clouds gathering in the distance. On the summit, pleasant 15 degrees and 52% humidity, so it was nice to "martinčkati" on the lee side. After one hour, back to the car, where clouds were already starting.

Walking time to the summit: 1h 10min. I recommend the loop, first via the gully to the bivouac then back via the meadow. The sun already has its power.

Today with friend Mojca we used the day for a hike to Lepenatka and Rogatec. We parked a bit before St. Lenart. To the Lepenatka pasture the sun warmed us well. On the Lepenatka summit light rain welcomed us, which almost deterred us from going up to Rogatec. But the clouds dispersed quickly and the sun shone again. Despite the wind that accompanied us all the way to Rogatec, we were satisfied with today's hike choice.

Super, thanks. Now the plans for tomorrow have sadly collapsed, hope I still find time before the worsening.

Today, an escape from the gloomy foggy valley. I drive to the church of St. Lenart and set off across the meadow to Lepenatka. Autumn is in full swing with its fairy-tale colors. Then I descend to Kal and some pleasant scrambling on Rogatec really nicely spices up the day. I return to the church of St. Lenart past upper Špeha.

p.s.
whoever collects stamps on Lepenatka, there isn't one or I missed it.

Today I was with my friend Mojca on this tour: St. Lenart - Lepenatka - Veliki Rogač. We checked the weather forecast, and it was accurate: sun all the time, warm, clear and thus nice views of our peaks. Tour appropriately varied and I recommend it in this direction. Easier up the demanding [part] than down: no ZZP just written like that. Needs physical fitness (especially for Rogač) and experience scrambling on less protected slopes. We survived a pleasant day.

Yesterday I went along the marked path from Rogelj mill past Knebovšek farm (locally) over Ugoške caves to Lepenatka. The walk is 2 hours one way. At the Caves I went directly up the ridge by the forest.
Praise to the markers of PD Gornji Grad, who cleared the path from Rogelj mill to the church of St. Lenart of bushes and fallen trees.

Today from Kranjski Rak to Lepenatka. Road icy from about 2km past Rak.
Due to breakable crust on the path no need for crampons.
Narrow path under Kunšperk on the right crosses steep slopes, this time it was dry except two spots, don't recommend in snow.
On the left we avoid this path and reach the bivouac at Kal directly via forest road.
Windy and cold at the top, -6°C at the car in the evening. Cheers.

On Saturday, May 5, I walked to Lepenatka[,] nice easy path full of Koch's snowbell on its slopes[,] real feast for the eyes, nice views especially to Savinja valley, central peaks of KSA unfortunately in clouds and strong wind blowing. From Lepenatka I descended to Kal saddle and then to Rogatec but that's another story.

Some video impressions from the path here.

From Mačkin kot to Lepenatka. There was no sun like on Thursday but it was possible to ski very nicely. Fresh snow up top, occasionally a light crust, lower down partly southerly snow. We could ski down to Podlinšek farm.
Since we still had half a day ahead, we drove to Črnivec and then again on skis up to Kašna planina. There the snow was completely dry, only tracks of two or four legs ahead of us, downhill skiing easy and enjoyable.
