Lepenatka and Veliki Rogatec (Rogač)

On Saturday we did the path with our seven-year-old: Sv. Lenart - Lepenatka - Rogatec - Zg. Špeh - Sv. Lenart.
He liked the climbing path a lot, so he's already looking forward to new such paths.
And everyone went along the recommended path.1

Yesterday with buddy after 1 year again in hills. Tour:Sv.Lenart-Kal-Rogatec-Lepenatka-Sv.Lenart, really great tour for enjoyment, climbing path needs some mountain experience, otherwise path ok. Recommend to solo hikers.

Today over Lepenatka and Kal to Rogatec. Descent to Špeh and back to car.
Road to Sv.Lenart church icy last km and impassable without chains.
Not much snow on path, only on ridge shade slip risk on few cm snow. Used crampons for descent to Špeh - recommended.mežikanje

Today over Rogatec to Lepenatka and past Planšarska koča to Lenart.
Weather after morning snow shower rather miserable, path wet and slippery...

Today in best company to Veliki Rogatec via Lepenatka. My better half hadn't been to Rogač yet and was surprised by climbing part as good stretch over ridge and exposure not negligible. On summit long enjoyed sun and views. Returned past Zg. Špeh to Sv. Lenart where car was. Path ok, road ok, lots of primroses and nice scents. Regards

We were also there on Thursday at Rogatec and Lepenatka. It's possible that we saw each other just when you two arrived at the top of Rogatec and we were leaving it.
After almost two months this was finally again the first hike somewhere outside the municipality. So we could take a little break from Rašica, Šmarna gora, Toško čelo, Janč, Golovec and Rožnik.nasmeh

Visiting Lepenatka and Rogatec in spring never disappoints and it didn't this time either.
Fixed protections on Rogač are all fine.

Hello mountain hikers nasmeh on Sunday we plan with the group to go first to Lepenatka, then via the climbing route to Rogatec. We would descend the other side to the Zgornji Špeh pasture, so please advise on the condition of both routes to and from Rogatec.

No special features on the mentioned paths. mežikanje Just need to be a bit careful on the descent from Rogatec towards Špeh, because of fallen trees there are a few small detours.

From Sv. Lenart to Lepenatka past Zg. Špeh I know it's tracked (colleague was there yesterday). But about Rogatec, I don't know?

A short ambient video of an afternoon hike.
The road to sv. Lenart is good, but it was quite damaged in the flood. Only when you see the consequences of the August flood like this in micro-locations, you can see how bad and intense it was.
The path is without features.

Thanks @mirank! It's more amateurish, but to the best of my abilities at that moment. First time I tried filming that way with me in the frame during the hike, and I have to say it's not that easy! nasmeh

Yeah, turbo, you really wear yourself out up and down. Over the ridge, e.g., I went forward three times and back twice. I think I did about 200 extra elevation meters. zavijanje z očmi
Tone, I agree! Next similar chance, I'll spin around mežikanje ...but I ran out of battery, didn't have a powerbank with me nasmeh
