Wonderful pictures, real idyll ... But a concern - was it really necessary to take photos and walk right on the cross-country track??? I get itchy when I see this, I like cross-country skiing and think there's enough space for all winter joys.

What could be nicer than strolling on cross-country tracks.

And so little is needed, just a step, two and the picture is completely different...

Dear "georgia", "Roman 29" and "ewxannabe" It's not all as black as you see it. Go to the terrain - to this path, and you'll realize that most of the marked hiking path runs where they made the cross-country track. I think there's enough space for hikers and cross-country skiers. If someone looks for a needle in a haystack, they'll surely find it.

That's right bogi. Many cross-country skiers on Rogla don't realize that the hiking transversal where cross-country tracks run is marked since 1953, while the cross-country tracks on the transversal are only the last 25 years. Cross-country tracks are CLOSED during Rogla non-operation time. https://www.rogla.eu/si/nacrtujte-obisk/snezne-razmere

Don't mind Bogdan, but still don't understand why exactly on those (2*)5 cm tracks you had to stand. Only that's funny, the rest no issue. good luck

Today from the hut at Pesek to Lovrenška. Temperature 2°C, cloudless day. Road from Pesek to Mašin žaga a bit icy, further up the hill good hard snow still. Wonderful tour, few hikers. At the top of Rogla, by hotels and ski slopes in the morning... terrible crowd for parking.

Can you get the SPP stamp at Ribniška hut in winter?

Today to Lovrenske from in front of Planja up the upper 'winter' path and back down the lower through forest. The upper one is very marshy, I was sinking in. Probably the marked upper through forest is a better option. On the lower forest path there is still some snow which is mostly bypassable. Quite some mud too. Around the lakes it's dry. Met one couple on the path. Not many visitors up there today. Temp. 5 on the sign.

We too made it to Lovrenška lakes, both first time. Yesterday from Rogla, lots of visitors but nicely spread on paths and trails around lakes. Went there over Ostruščica and left upper path, really nicer and panoramic, but half way over bog and (currently?) very wet, muddy, can't avoid wetness - real test of boot waterproofing! Back on lower forest path. Views yesterday incredible, didn't know from Pohorje you see so far, from Kamniks to Triglav and Snežnik, to Carinthia ... Wow! And sun aplenty. Sadly out of time for longer loop or tower views on Rogla. So we'll return!

I started in Lovrenc na Pohorju and continued along the marked path to the Lovrenška Lakes. I descended to Mašin žaga, then along an unmarked road to Lake Jezerc, from there along the forest road running along the slopes above Radoljna back to Lovrenc na Pohorju.

@Tadej, this waterfall on the tributary of Radoljna is called Hudičev slap.
