Garmont, it wasn't the eastern one. I went around below towards Kamniška Bistrica then up that gully. Then down to Vodotočnik.

On Saturday finally the five of us, all for the first time on Lučki dedec. It somehow evaded us, once because of snow only to Stara štala, another time because of fog to another target. This time we parked below planina Podvežak. We turned left towards the hunting hut on the hunting path to Lastovcu, on the ground mark Lastovka. Then on to Desko, Vodotočnik. The path is nice through bushes. On the ground quite poor Lučki dedec mark, otherwise well marked with cairns. Great views to Velika planina, Rzenik and Konj. Then view of the path walked last week from Kompotela to Kalški greben and Grintovec. Before us Planjava and Ojstrica. From the top view of climbing area Veža. Sad view on Koroščica, when will there be a new hut... For now it is possible to sleep in the winter hut and they served us. It was a nice day and we detoured to Moličko planina. View to Molička peč, Veliki vrh and to our future goal - Poljske device. Past Podvežak, we succeeded with Lučki dedec, bravo us, nice loop.

Some pics from the trip to Lučkega dedec. After the junction with the marked path there are still some snow bands, which are not problematic or can be bypassed.
The trip surprise was provided by two marmots on Petkovih njivah! My first contact with them in this part of KSA.

Yesterday from Kamniška Bistrica. Parked above the lower gondola station, along the road to the parking lot before Bela, then along the stream. The path is under renovation; I met a gentleman who maintains it. For the memorial plaque I turned left towards Vršiči, after some struggle with undergrowth to Lučki Dedec. Back along the marked path to Presedlaj and to Konj (marks completely faded). From planina Dol to the valley it drags on and there's no end. Although the forecast was cloudy, the sun shone all day, warm, almost no wind, divine. On Dleskovška planota I met no one, on Grintovec a crowd. In a good eight hours 19 km and 1840 m elevation.

Does anyone have info on road drivability to Pl. Podvežak?
From Kamnik direction I know that one needs to bypass Črna valley, don't know about road further from Kranjski Rak. Any info welcome.
