Mala Mojstrovka - Hanz Path

From Vršič towards Hanz's. Just a few meters of snow before entering Hanz's, no problem.
Protections are reachable right at the start, further it's all dry.
At MM Lana joins me, a petite girl who came on foot from Kranjska Gora.
We chatted a bit.
After the talk I realized she has mountains in her blood.
I went to VM. I was early, so there was no mist yet. Temperature suitable for hiking.
Also stopped at the Russian Chapel, as it was even open.

Today with older son via Hanz path to the top, lots of people there, also from Croatia, so we commented on their mountains too.mežikanje
Path normally passable, protections OK, descent via normal path seemed more demanding, lots of scree, some places real mess.

Descent definitely better via "ridge" path, which is unmarked.

What about descent via southern? Is it dry?

If northern side (Hanzova) is dry, chance of snow on southern = 0. Just go nasmeh

I've attached today's report. Today a nice loop trail. Slemenova špica - via Hanz path to Mala Mojstrovka - Velika Mojstrovka - Zadnja Mojstrovka - descent off-trail to Southern trail to start at Vršič pass. Started in light rain, then partly sunny. No snow now. No crowds.

On Sunday at Vršič packed with cars. Many used the great weather to visit mountains. Our small group went to see larches at Slemenova špica and our nicest mountain Jalovec, wonderful from that view. Then up Hanz path to Mala Mojstrovka and on to Velika Mojstrovka, back to Vršič from there. Wonderful weather with superb views.

We walked a lot there yesterday, apparently some snow still at the entrance, but doable. That's what they saidnasmeh.

On Hanzova snow only at entrance to climbing part, was today... with bit of ingenuity no problem
