The Slovenian is less airy, but there is much more falling rock than on Hanzova.

What about comparing the Slovenian on Mangart against the Grebenska past the first window on Prisojnik??

I personally haven't gone on this path yet, I think it's not more demanding than Kopiščarjeva path on Prisojnik

no comparison... Slovenian is shorter, "flatter" and in my opinion easier. Than Kopiščarjeva, of course. Grebenska on Prisank is a walk compared to Kopiščarjeva. Anyway regarding questions I'm seriously wondering if you know what you're talking about and where you're heading. No hard feelings...

Today via Hanzova to M.M, then visit also V.M. and descent via south path to Vršič. Path without peculiarities, quite a few visitors. Also the logbook is filled to every corner. Definitely nice morning tour, in ideal weather.

I already know where I'm heading but JusAugustin didn't read properly that I'm asking for comparison of the Slovenian one on MANGART and the ridge one on Prisank

Read more mountaineering guidebooks and less forum! It's all nicely written down.

Paths are a bit hard to compare because they are quite different. Slovenian on Mangart is very well secured and mainly climbing, while ridge on Prisank is secured somewhat less but everywhere needed. To the hole it's mainly walk, further bit on ledges then mainly scrambling on ridge up and down. Here and there somewhat exposed but no big deal. Regarding physical effort Slovenian on Mangart is somewhat harder.

Thanks Keko. I prefer data from those who walked the paths rather than reading guidebooks which can be old, on the path lots changes (regarding protections). But I think the forum is for exchange of experiences and data not for tiring like for example the tiring tomiš

Yesterday via Hanz to Mala Mojstrovka. First time for me, but had good instructor so with bit of courage and proper gear happily climbed to summit. It was super, weather favorable too as morning fogs and clouds cleared so we enjoyed beautiful views.

Congratulations, Bina! Many years ago, when my older cousin led me for the first time on the Hanz path, beautiful memories of experiences in the mountains. Good luck!

I rarely comment in these topics, but today I must. At the entrance to Hanz, three heroes with poles in hands and of course no helmets overtook us. A little higher up, they sent a rock slide onto our heads. My guest's helmet saved him, but it didn't survive the close encounter with the rock. Behind us there were still quite a few people without helmets. Is 50€ such big money, or do you value your life so little? And at the entrance, stow the poles, as they just bother you on the cables - though you are almighty and nothing can happen to you. Maybe with free hands you could watch your steps better and not endanger others' lives. Nice greetings to all with helmets and without. Mitja

That's modern society.. Care for the safety of others is secondary for many or they don't even know what it is... Nothing with helmets or without, no dilemma, HELMET and period! (or exclamation mark though )

Superbly written, I fully agree! Trekking poles don't belong on the Hanz path to Mojstrovka, but helmet on head is obligatory. Especially at the entrance, some stone often flies down. Sending this to everyone to read: http://www.gore-ljudje.net/objave/sulc/DEMOKRACIJA_ZPP_v5mk.pdf If you see such a group that could potentially trigger rocks, better wait 10 minutes under the wall until they go ahead and thus reduce the probability that rocks will fly onto your head - or rather, you climb the wall before them and go slowly and safely. They will wait. If you do trigger rocks, then yell and warn the surroundings about what happened. On Hanz, self-belay is definitely recommended, and there is no dilemma about the helmet. Mojstrovka, despite being close to Vršič, is not a tourist mountain. The south approach is indeed much easier, but still not easy, and I certainly do not approve of the behavior of numerous tourists who head up in sneakers. Hanz is not a tourist walking path at all!! Those "tourists" who don't need protection because an invisible helmet protects your head, better trigger rocks on the scree and fool around there. You will likely end up among the bushes and some branch will nicely whack you a few times as you push through, and you might realize that it's better to walk around Lake Bled. Good luck!

This thread is living proof of how differently people perceive such tours. I climbed Hanz's to MM for the first time. I really expected a much harder tour. I don't know why. Even less did I expect to underestimate it. But I could have done it alone no problem. Cables new in spots, markings seemed fine to me. I love the path very much, will definitely return. Today quite a few visitors, even more on the south side where we returned. There "tourists" interesting, who have no idea where they climb let alone how to be equipped for such tours. But that's Vršič.

Cloud cover over basins in the morning wasn't promising, but mists lifted, only peaks enveloped more densely. So from top of Mojstrovka really no views, lower part enough. Sunday crowd appropriate and as said many times, eyes feast on all sorts of imprudences. Today father with about 7-year-old daughter set out without belay, by questions father himself new to path. And young guys descending without gear, thermoses in pockets about to fall on lower hikers... Really need to start charging fines.... Zdrsani Grebenc its own chapter, but maybe at least stops some lady clipped in, which is worth something. OOOO, pathless solitude, where are you!
