Dear 'jprim',
believe me, 'andrejp' is not impatient with slower ones (I know him from hikes), he just expressed his opinion, which, hand on heart, is all too often true: we buy the best gear, but don't know how to use it, and nevertheless head out on the tour and learn 'live' there.

But quite the opposite, I wish everyone reaches where they're headed at their own pace and walking style. I don't chase anyone and no one chases me in the mountains, well except maybe Janez, but that's an inside joke. I just wanted to express my opinion on realistic goals individuals set for themselves, not the speed they walk. For all I care someone can hike to Šmarna Gora all day, it doesn't bother me at all, on the contrary, I'm very glad they go.

Thanks, do you maybe have some winter one, like snow up to the crosspiece of the cross, I have it, otherwise I've been to Mangart around 60 times. In that first set of published pictures, no summit. lp

Ania, aren't you in Zermatt!
As I wrote once already, one also goes to Mangart from the Belopeška Lakes, and from Loška Koritnica, some also from Tamar; that one with the saddle up is more for a bit of exercise, or if there's some errand, and I have quite a few on Mangart every now and then.

I think that Triglavski performs the work of a policeman in the mountain unit of the police "on call", meaning when he is called to that unit due to service needs, otherwise I think he works as a policeman at one of the police stations. Let's be patient and respectful, as our lives and health are very often dependent on the brave actions of policemen from the mountain police unit and GRS. LP Andrej

Triglavski, just realize your dreams, life in the valley is bleak, monotonous, salaries such that God may have mercy on them. Man's path is long to reach his goal and fulfillment within himself, but when you step on the mountain top, you learn gradually to be one with yourself and the creation surrounding you. I too wait for the post-election time and better future. Greetings!
