Mountain NOB Memorials

Today in this rainy weather I visited the partisan hospital in Kamniška Bistrica. It's called Bela. It stopped operating in 1944. I don't know what its end was. It was hidden deep in the forest near the Bela stream. It had good protection - even today two machine gun nests are visible. Nearby was buried an American pilot who died in the hospital. The path is well marked. There is even a cache and a special book for entries, which I haven't seen anywhere so far.

Even across the Belo stream we must go - currently it is quite watery.

These are both machine gun nests for hospital defense. If there was ever fighting here I don't know.

Here is the monument and box for entries with logbook.

The logbook surprised me greatly. Haven't seen one like it anywhere.

I also viewed the monument site where the American pilot was buried.

Velkavrh, thanks for the description and photos. About this partisan hospital there is very little known data, or I can't find them (how long it operated, how many wounded were treated here, if it was ever discovered - betrayed etc.).

This path and the hospital site are exemplarily maintained. For such memorials in the Ceklje municipality area in Gorenjska, the gentleman from Adergas takes exemplary care - very praiseworthy. I admire him greatly.

Sorry sirt, but such things (divisions into ours and yours) belong on RTV, 24kur and similar forums.
I could start writing the same under the topic "crosses and chapels in the mountains" (or whatever the title is) about thousands, if not millions, of victims and endless suffering caused by the RKC.

@Fulcrum, as I said, such pointless debates don't belong on hribi.net, but given the direct provocation I'll tell you that a fervent Christian will convert to a Muslim much earlier than an atheist (though I have no idea where you pulled the Muslims from now).

The debate really doesn't belong on this page, but I also have the right to popi*dim if for years and years I listen to the same crap and provocations.
As for conversions, Slovenes always turn where the wind blows, atheists and believers without difference.
