All listed shops are uber expensive and not necessarily synonym of quality... Unless you're daddy's boy I suggest you visit Decathlon right on our border near Škofijah....By far the best price-performance ratio... http://www.decathlon.it on the site you can check current product stock too

Decathlon is not necessarily the cheapest, technical gear seems more expensive to me than in Iglu, Kibuba etc. But I agree it's very worthwhile buying clothes there

Depends what you're looking for. If you need alpinism and climbing technical gear, then Kibuba, Iglu, Annapurna. If you need clothes and gear for easy hiking, Hervis, Gigašport, Interšport suffice. If you're a bit more serious hill-climber, you go to the mountains in winter and need a bit more durable gear (better gaiters, gloves, base layers,..) check stores from first group. But know you'll cough up a bit more cash, quality costs. Decathlon is somewhere in between. They don't have much climbing and alp gear, just basics of the basics, clothes are quite OK if not exactly going to the Himalayas.

how to choose the right climbing harness?

@Hribolazka. I swear by Kibuba in Mercator Center Dravlje in Ljubljana. There are two guys there who really know their stuff and really know how to advise. At Iglu sport you often get their own ideas pushed on you and they can hold it against you if you decide on something else. At least that's my experience. Exception is the salesman at Iglu at the Climbing Center in Ljubljana. He really makes an effort. Otherwise I got this one myself and PCL has some like that too, so I assume it can't be bad. Lately I've been reaching for proven Rab. Last I got excellent softshell jacket Rab Raptor. Has great hood, wide thigh pockets, soft brushed polyamide inside, rare abrasion-resistant robust nylon outside, 684g size L also for winter. What’s most important is the model is made with slightly larger sizes, for wearing extra second layer under the jacket in winter. Jacket is windproof, non-membrane breathes excellently, resistant to light rain. It cost me with free shipping only 110 eur, a good second layer . Hurry, not many left, I got mine on special inquiry, now after delivery they have two L and one M. http://www.ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/mens-clothing-c1/mens-softshell-c95/softshell-jackets-c218/raptor-jacket-p3251

I also swear by Rab. Very satisfied with their products. But it's better to search for things online, usually much cheaper than here.

Viharnik! Hribolazka1 is asking about climbing harness, you recommend jacket purchase to her - or rather boasted big time what you got and will pull on. Surely not that you're cold in the attic?

You'll cry for Rab Raptor, it's so good . I tried putting it on over thick Power Stretch and it's completely comfy in arm movement, even some space left in between. Tomorrow even at -8°C at 2000m I won't be cold in it. Well, you, if you like, keep talking with Hribolazko and Liziko, I live on spiritual levels equal to mine.

Samo, you can also go to Hare Krishna, but I doubt anyone there will enlighten your spirit .Up here some are so narrow-minded that if someone shoveled food into your mouths, you wouldn't eat, let alone find it. Gorolazka, I don't know where you two came from with Liziko, but from you two I haven't seen a Smarna Gora ascent yet, just an inquiry for a climbing harness

Viharnik. I have nothing to do with hribolazko. Learn to read accurately bro. I have a climbing harness. Don't need a new one. You just keep typing your life diary on hribi.net.

Viharnik doesn't respond. He's >not even cold at -8 at 2000 m<, where he's probably at now, or maybe on his >equal spiritual levels<, if not, surely in the attic. Snowy greetings!
