While crossing the forest, I photographed these forest fruits (picked some too)

Smrekovec should be better protected, some really exaggerate with excessive picking of blueberries and mushrooms!! Although some are already doing something for the protection of Smrekovec, which is really a special feature in our area (volcano), stricter control this time would be very welcome!!

Yes, this hill is Smrekovec!
I used to visit it more often, now not anymore due to the extreme traffic (took my wife to hand-pick blueberries - which is rare here). Everyone uses some strange devices (rakes) and pull everything away. I don't know how it is with mushrooms now, because I haven't mushroomed on Smrekovec for a long time.
I'll attach a photo of the cars parked from the hut to the forest - in the middle of the week (what, only on the weekend)!

well, there are absolutely too many cars everywhere
but it's like that, everyone brags that they were on Smrekovec
and when you think, oh another mountain lover, it turns out they were almost at the top by car
it's the same elsewhere
we like to go from Abrama to Nanos, and it's a few hours walk, but there are cars too, so every time I say "never again"

yes, this row of cars is from Thursday. and those goats at every table leave a few droppings
I also go to Smrekovec once a year and hand-pick a kilo of blueberries and even that below, before Smrekovec. If picked by hand, the ripe ones are nicely picked, the green ones stay up and ripen in a couple of days. Most pick with little rakes and strip the bush of ripe, green and leaves. It seems to me that this does more harm than good.
as for mushrooms, everything is devastated anyway, people pick what's edible, the rest they kick
But I agree with Klavdija, that they should tighten control over pickers.
I overheard two women with full basket and bucket of blueberries (and who knows what in big backpacks), that next time they have to go an hour and a half's walk further, where there are lots. Obviously they didn't read the signs not to pick on the top ridges, so something remains for the animals.
And also, I haven't tasted ripe cranberries on Smrekovec yet, because pickers take everything still green, then sell the green ones at the market. Why can't idiots wait for them to ripen?

Yes, really Golte - Viharnik always guesses everything!
Pohorje (Triglavski) remains for autumn - for a nice traverse (mushrooms are not important!!) - relaxation, socializing, walking in a beautiful setting - if we find any (mushroom..) no big deal!!
