Today most mountaineers were in the mountains, were on the snow, rejoiced in warm sun rays and enjoyed beautiful views. Probably not all of you had that opportunity; to you in memory of warm days, I send pictures with the queen of flowers in our mountains, as we often call her. So judge, flower lovers!

better get a new camera, because scanning loses quality and differences are probably quite big. Nice if after each trip you report trail conditions and delight us with nice pics reflecting not memories but current conditions!!!... no offense!

Serajko, interesting pic, looks like somewhere in Himalayas. 
Otherwise interesting topic, though not current conditions. "Non-digital" pics have special charm, especially black-and-white. Diversity enriches us...

don't you even realize that you've hurt someone? What if he can't afford a better camera? And honestly I haven't seen nicer pictures of spruces surrounded by ivy, even scanned ones. Isn't that a negative attitude? What is it then? Not all sections can have content on current conditions.
Whether you admit it or not, you were rude. I admit that I've hurt someone too, but I've always apologized. To err is human. And if you've hurt otiv so easily, then apologize to him just as easily, at least because you're probably quite a bit younger than him.

I think we've sorted out the misunderstandings and I can show more from my slightly dusty albums. Please forgive the quality of the shots as a "gray haze" has gathered over them. Color pictures naturally lose their color power with each year, you all know that if you're a bit older.
But in my pictures there's also some of my enthusiasm for mountains and lots of "love" for flowers and through pictures I want to convey that. My aim is just to awaken memories of nice mountain experiences a bit and brighten winter evenings for some. I want it to be like that. LP

Thanks for warm words and encouragement, I just sensed that it must touch someone's heart too, not just me reliving memories.
Sorry I didn't introduce myself at the start, fixing that now so you see this yokel as my former colleague calls me. In winter my mascot is red cap and if you don't like something grab me by ears, now you know me.
