Hi,
has anyone been to Ojstrica in the recent past? Interested in the condition of the path and road on Robanov kot - Ojstrica route (via Mala Ojstrica). On promet.si I saw also complete closure on RT-924 road, can one drive past to the gravel road to the starting point?

Road is BP. To Planinšek asphalt, then gravel.
Path via Mala Ojstrica still has some snow patches, path from Korošica up has snow tongues in pits above Korošica and higher.

Road to Podveža still in fairly good condition. Here and there a ditch from rainwater - drive slowly over. Parking at Podveža as usual quite full all day. Path to Kocbek shelter and on over Mala Ojstrica to Ojstrica without issues.

Yesterday's impressions from nice circular path. From Podveža to Molička planina then to Mala Ojstrica. Along ridge to Ojstrica summit. Descent towards Korošica planina and back to start. Nice path with wonderful views. On descent to Korošica much gravel on path, careful not to slip.

After over a year back there. Long drive, gravel section worse to Podvežak. To Mala Ojstrica and Ojstrica, all warm and hot, no wind at all, no rain but felt heat stress in the air. Descent to Korošica, caution needed on descent from summit. Then up to Prag, Deska and under Lastovec back to start.

Beautiful autumn day in mountains.

Today tour Podvežak - Veliki Vrh - Molička planina - Ojstrica via Mala Ojstrica - descent to Korošica - over Prag and past Vodotočnik to saddle up past Deska and Tolsti vrh back to start.

Path without issues. Road to parking OK. Whole way pleasantly warm, except Ojstrica summit.
Some visitors today, noticeable as only nice day for days back and ahead per forecast.

"Shortcut" from chapel at Molička planina direct up to ridge below Mala Ojstrica well visible. Path trodden, passages between rocks comfortable. Few nice scrambles there.

Dense fog in the valleys. On Veliki vrh however morning sunbathing in short sleeves, with view to Snežnik far south.2

@garmont: well, not that much.nasmeh I don't have a watch that measures exactly, but according to the app it's about 15 km and 1520m elevation gain total, so not really excessive.jezik The drive from Vrhnika to the starting point seemed longer to me, especially on a workday and during the morning rush hour.zavijanje z očmi But it's exceptionally beautiful and varied, that's for sure!nasmeh
