So exactly that section of the path from the chapel straight up to the ridge is the Kocbekova path?

I thought that was the name of the entire path over the eastern ridge...because it's named and marked that way on maPZS... nasmeh

@Tomco, on the sign by that cave it says: Kocbekova Slovenian mountaineering path to Ojstrica (in pic. 12 in skala123's post). It also "confused" me on maPZS that the classic marked path via Mala Ojstrica is marked as Kocbekova path.

@zokipoki - is that the jump in pic. 15 by skala123?

Today from Podvežak a bit our own way to the summit. Descent along the southern path and past Vodotočnik over Desko back. Except at the summit, weather excellent. I noticed lots of new direction signs and the branch to Dedec is also nicely marked.nasmeh

Today ascent to Krofička and Ojstrica from Logarska dolina. Above 1700 m there is quite a bit of snow, in places even icy. The snow is dry, untransformed. Both paths are tracked, however; the marked one to Krofička and the Kopinškova.

Descent over Škarje is very pleasant, as there is just enough snow to cushion the walk sufficiently without needing to break trail. On the summits it was really blowing hard.

When autumn and winter combine their powers, nature is even more wonderful.
Quite a few haven't shed their needles yet.1

Thanks to both, but I would need more accurate information, because we path markers intend to renew the markings on Saturday and trim the flora a bit, so that we won't be surprised if it's not passable.

Below Rjavčki vrh and further towards Škarje there is still quite a bit of snow visible, and the crossing along Kopinškova also still has it. Seen on Sunday from Olševa.

Today from Podvežak to Vodol, where I surprised two marmotsvelik nasmeh From there on an abandoned path almost directly to Inkret's spring...which is flowing.mežikanje Then to Molička planina and on Kocbek's path to the top of Ojstrica.
Descent on the southern path past Korošica ( water is there ), Vodotočnik and over Deska back to the car.
There was no snow anywhere else on the entire path, except for three meters of crossing.nasmeh

Please provide information: what are the conditions on the Kopinškova path? Is there still some snow on the path? Can I avoid it?

I was there today, the snowfield is only in the upper part (crossing over the scree). It's very short and the crossing wasn't difficult. A careful step is nevertheless advisable though.

Given that Kopinškova can be traversed without winter equipment, I'm wondering if it's worth taking SVK, if I didn't need it on Triglav via Plemenice. Thanks.

It's not worth it, but it's good to have it with you and use it.
PS: Bragging that you didn't have it on the way over Plemenice is not smart!

Janez, why isn't it wise?velik nasmeh Actually, I haven't gone since they renovated the path, but before, for someone who would rely exclusively on SVK, it absolutely wasn't.

"Trobec", so that no one thinks that the ascent via Plemenice for example is similar to the approach from Krma to the Triglav Lodge on Kredarica.
