The road was fully passable on Sunday, 20.4.09. I don't know about the newly fallen snow in the last two days though...

This morning at Savinja Saddle. The road to the turning point is passable, there are plenty of parking spaces, and they also removed the road closure sign at the junction.

Zamet, how is it sinking towards the saddle? In the morning it looks like you were early and it probably still held - what about back.

I skied back and it was cool, those who went later sank in quite a bit, it sank for me here and there in the lower part somewhere to the middle, but already tomorrow conditions in the mountains will be different again. Good luck..

Today (Saturday 2.5.) I was at Savinja Saddle, weather wasn't too nice, a bit windy and some cloudiness towards the top it sinks in, for return best to have skis, lots of snow. Regards.

Up to the pass (Mrzli dol) you can walk nicely. Most of it is then in Mrzli dol (windblown). The snow was very southern and it sank quite strongly. In places the whole pole went into the snow.

21.11.09 conditions on the path to savinjsko sedlo were ideal, but beware, young couple, precisely the girl slipped somewhere near jezersko saddle (hope everything is ok with her).

Today I was up there; very nice weather, sun with a little wind; the path to Savinjsko sedlo is nicely trodden, there weren't too many people.

Hmmm... usually to Dom planincev, but given the heat conditions maybe already a bit higher. To planincev for sure.
Since the accident I haven't been there anymore, still indulging in climbing pleasures at these temps.
