To me, the colors don't seem overly emphasized at all. Sure, you see HDR processing work that brightens dark areas and darkens overbright ones, but such vivid colors (even more so) I've experienced high in the mountains myself many times and photographed. But the condition is being very high up and clean air (summer doesn't count).

Does anyone know where to get the Prestreljenik stamp? I'm not really a stamp collector, but at home I've had an ancient SPP logbook for five years missing only this one, I'd like to finish it. No stamp at the top (was there ever?), in the station D buffet as we can read two pages back, nor there either, since we know what happened to the ski resort.
Maybe in the tourist office in Bovec?

Will Koča Petra Skalarja even be open this year? And the gondola, will it run in summer?

Some years ago you could get it at the municipality, ask the janitor if he knows anything about it.

Despite the poor winter, the time for ski touring is coming. Down in Žlebe there is still too little snow, so we took the gondola to Gilbertij. From there on it's real winter, enhanced by the sun on our side.
At Škrbina we split up and some went towards the window and skied down into Veliki graben and then back to Škrbina. The others went to Prestreljenik - three on skis, two on foot. The path doesn't present difficulties, as it's well trodden.
Despite little snow, skiing from the top was surprisingly good. Then we all together skied in great conditions to Gilbertij and with gondola to the valley. velik nasmeh

Looks like there won't be a snowcat here for a while

On Sunday with Rok we start from Neveje - goal Prestreljenik. To Gilbertija with crampons further on the tracks, where the snow cover really starts. It was a wonderful day and good conditions.

And who knows if it's possible to get via Krnica now in these winter conditions to the saddle Prevala? And is it too risky now - avalanches? Thanks for any advice

Since I don't like shade, I drive to Gozdec and shortly before noon on the bulldozer untracked path to C station, then to D station and to the top on the trodden ridge track, which of course is not a marked path, although there is an old fixed cable nasmeh

Despite the sun, the snow stayed dry or frozen, so very comfortable for walking. I descended the ascent path, because I didn't want to go to shady Prevala and even shadier Krnica zavijanje z očmi

We park at the junction of the service road and along it to Skripi station. Here we cross the fog boundary and soon above the station the hardened snow base starts, which holds in places, elsewhere not. Through the "ski slope" to the saddle Sedlo and then left to the top. Snow trodden but not transformed, caution due to slipping is not superfluous. The fixed cable on the ridge also comes in handy.

I was there a few years ago too and would like to repeat it this year, I'm interested if the stamp is still at the top of Prestreljenik, I heard it's no longer there, did you check Aljaž's tower??? zavijanje z očmi

26.4 on Prestreljenik. We take the gondola to Gilbertija, leave skis below Prestreljenik and go to the top on foot. Wonderful views from the top and completely windless.. During skiing we had very dense fog in the upper part, lower down it was better and enjoyable nasmeh

After the gullies you can still ski to the valley, only a good 5 min to carry skis to the car nasmeh
