From Sella Neveja along the ski slope, which is very hard, I arrive at the saddle just before sunrise. Here I leave the skis, put on crampons and head towards the summit. I sit for snack time then back in the reverse direction to the valley.

Has anyone been on Prestreljenik this weekend, now that they've started the cable car? Or even to Kanin? What are the conditions, how much snow is left on the path?

You can get the summit stamp at the TIC in Bovec.

Yesterday from station D to Sedlo and on to Prestreljenik. On descent, a bit above Sedlo we turned to the new Kanin addition, the so-called family "via ferrata", routed along ledges of Prestreljenik to the window. The path is scenic, and really not demanding, except maybe on the short vertical, which is well secured. Otherwise yesterday nice weather, no cloud, already warm in the morning with pleasant wind. On top of Prestreljenik and path to window we met no one. But much livelier on usual descent from window to station D, where we met crowd of Czechs, families with kids pushing up in sneakers, and sliding down a bit...

Yesterday, even children (and parents) were sliding with a Nordic dialect. And also a lady in flip-flops with a Ljubljana accent. The legendary "Czechs" remained multinational.

Legend, Djimuzl - well, understand this folk if you can. These "mountaineers" are equipped just for a promenade on the riva by the sea. Mountain rescue service obviously won't be jobless yet. Regards!

Tourism doesn't like restrictions. Who will prescribe hikers' boots to tourists if they're just on holiday?

Today to Prestreljenik from Italian side. On north side quite cold, and still some snow left. On way back tried the via ferrata. Agree with legend - easy and nice access to window. Only bit harder that vertical. On top of Prestreljenik no book, no stamp.

After exchanging two messages, the next day the human and the dwarf set off from Na Žlebeh towards the saddle Prevala. Since humans have longer skis than dwarves, they can walk uphill with them, while the latter carry them; while carrying them to the agreed goal, we innocently mention the idea of extending the tour to Prestreljenik. 
This time I was lucky and the proposal was accepted.
The snow on the whole path was very crusty. To Prevala in the morning there was no breakthrough. From the chairlift station below Prestreljenik, sinking to the knees and beyond began. Thus in the summit part there is greater slip danger.

On Sunday my dad and I tried the via ferrata crossing the slopes of Prestreljenik. The ferrata itself is nice, short and very suitable for families and people with less experience. The usual path to Prestreljenik is very well marked with quite fresh blazes. But one thing shook me greatly: crowds of tourists from everywhere climbing the nearby peaks in flip-flops and sandals, pushing their way over scree fields and dislodging stones. I also saw a man who with two poles decided on the ascent to the window and further to the top. Horrible...

How is it now with the stamp at the top of Prestreljenik? In autumn and winter it wasn't there. Does anyone know?

They have one in the TIC Bovec.

In TIC Bovec they have stamps for Prestreljenik and all other surrounding Bovec mountains, including the planinas (about fifteen stamps in total). I also looked for it on the top, but it's not there.
