From the Dobenska side they are diligently removing, it's normally passable...a bit of attention, because they are sawing and dragging...

- steep path (over Reber) from Rašica village was still scattered 2 weeks ago, not recommended

- usual path from village is cleared, likewise path Gameljne-vrh (west of road)

With a colleague we jumped to Rašica this afternoon, we started in Povodje at the fish farm. The path is passable but requires some skill in overcoming obstacles winking

- fallen trees, tons of them, nothing cleared yet. Well, when the path joins the macadam road, no more problems - except the hut is open only till 17h and we missed the tea and strudel we craved so much smile

In the morning on Šmarna gora, in the afternoon I also biked to the tower on Rašica. Quite a few cyclists were at the hut.

We used Easter Monday and the nice weather for a family trip to Rašica. The path is pleasant and just suitable for family outings.
At the top and viewpoint tower quite a crowd.

Maybe useful info for someone that the hut is closed next two weeks (due to caretakers' annual leave big

). It's also posted on the PZS site, which I admit I didn't check, so no coffee and strudel. But a bit below the hut we admired an exceptionally beautiful chamois specimen, that's something smile

Afternoon ride by bike to Vrh Staneta Kosca / Rašica / I met three more cyclists and a handful of hikers. Hut probably closed as there was no one anywhere.

I walked the section of Ljubljana Youth Trail between Povodje and Mengiš today. The path was a bit overgrown in places. Not that many people in the morning yet. On the descent humidity and heat started pressing. Halfway between Rašica and Mengeš Hut there's still some standing water on the path. It's teeming with tadpoles and frogs, and I saw a fire salamander too.
