It's easier from Spodnja to Visoka Vrbanova špica. If you don't need Staničeva koča in the middle of the tour, then the easiest is via the protected path to Rjavina, descent along the ridge towards Stanič, at Dvoških vratih via short unmarked path back towards Kot and then to Spodnja špica. That way you'll handle most difficult parts on ascent, the route doesn't extend much.
So the question is just whether you want Staniča in the middle of the tour or towards the end.

I'd have Staničev dom in the middle of the tour because I'd like to finish the tour back in Kot, it's a one-day tour, so I'd like to do such a loop.

No, in my description you return to Kot too and there's no major length difference. If you want to be at the hut mid-tour though, you don't have much choice. One technical part you'll have to do on descent, whichever way you do it.

Let me put it differently about Stanič: would you rather stop at the hut e.g. between Rjavina and Vrbanove špice or after Rjavina and Vrbanove špice, or doesn't it matter.

Coffee, I can't quite imagine where the short unmarked path at Dovških vratcih is?
Redbull, gladly but I have 2.5 hours drive each way so for one day it's a bit too much for me this "addition"=)

I went up to Rjavina, down via Vrbanove dol...and if repeating the tour, I'd do it once more in this order.

Over Vrbanove gor, very short descent (say half an hour) to the start of the climb to Rjavina, descent from Rjavina along the ridge (can use another shortcut), return to Kot.
Personally tested, by far the most pleasant variant where all climbing is done upwards.

So many different opinions I'm reading on forums I don't know anymore =)
I know the question about the self-belay kit is a bit overdone but anyway, is it "necessary" for someone fairly used to mountains on this tour?

Umm, I highlighted the differences: in my variant you go after Rjavina via path (1) and after Vrbanove Špice via path (2). In yours after Rjavina via path (3). The difference is basically the length of path (2), but I think you make up for it if you do Vrbanove Špice on ascent: physically/mentally easier. Of course just a suggestion. As Julika said, perfectly doable as you planned yourself.

Between my and Sunburned's variant the difference is only in the order of peaks and that Stanič is in the middle of the tour.

If I may whine a bit more.
Maybe worth considering Sunburned's variant too. Besides the two differences mentioned above, on his path the hardest part would be in first half when still fresh.

Last Thursday my colleague and I did the tour to Rjavina and Vrbanove Špice.
First, the road to Kot is far from as bad as written here, nor did I notice any spots where one could get stuck.
Lower path all dry, rocks dry and not greasy as warned.
First part we did over Vrbanove Špice via Lojze Rekar path and descended to Stanič hut. Top of Visoka Vrbanova Špica views like few in our mountains. Path adrenaline-packed but I didn't feel the need for SVK. We descended to junction where climbing path to Rjavina branches. Very nice path, especially last long exposed ferrata.
If doing these two peaks again I'd choose Julika's variant. After the path we realized that given current fitness especially the last two hours downhill were a bit too much =) Overall my most adrenaline day in Slovenian mountains so far.

Darinka4, nice tour.
Even nicer variant through Travna dolina, turn right at boulder on Malo polje avoid Prgarca and most marked path to Stanič. This path I walked Monday in excellent weather without meeting anyone to Rjavina summit.
