viharnik, you're mixing apples and pears again. How can you compare a tourist farm to the inn on Šmarna Gora?

We also have tourist farms under Šmarna Gora where you get homemade food at much lower prices.

viharnik, first time I agree with you. Oderuško. Today I had to ask to unlock the room with the gallery, even though the poster advertises the viewing. She looked at me really surprised and said it needs to be unlocked

Tinky, they are really friendly on Šmarna Gora, the gallery as far as I know, on rainy days when only a few visitors come up, is not open. On prices I already mentioned, or you can bring your own sandwich and tea like most hikers do who go to the hills.

If hikers, or better said visitors like those visiting Šmarna Gora come to our Gorenjska areas, then every normal hutkeeper loses his nerves, verified.

Yeah, true, a hundred people, a hundred marvels, then let's be respectful to the staff working at the top and grateful that they serve us to the best of their abilities.

What about hillwalkers who go to Smarna after work for fitness? You're generalizing again. Smarna is accessible to a very wide range of visitors. And if Ledinek earns, let him. Good for him.

Tinky, although I'm much younger, I know how it was in the '80s on Smarna, with tea, some presto, studying or sausage with bread. Ledinek's kids were babies then. Now the market sadly adjusts offer and prices to attendance and economic capacity of the people of that area. As long as it goes, who would bother shaking hands with the consumer if not needed? That's how it's thought today, but not everywhere, especially not abroad, where tourism is built friendly and long-term on the basis of satisfied guests.

Viharnik, and where do you get that we're not satisfied with the service at Smarna? They've always served me friendly. When I brought my over-70-year-old mom up, they gave her free tea. I have way more complaints about high-mountain huts than the inn at Smarna.

A few years ago, first time in the snow cave under Raduha. I arrive at the entrance, no one anywhere. After a few minutes, a guy comes up with two fuel canisters. I ask how and what, since there's still no one. No problem, he says, we refuel, he lights the lamps, and leads me alone for a good hour through the cave. Here it's hard to unlock the door to the gallery. By the way, gorolazka, for the "free" tea after the 70th year, you have to order something else. Even for the WC key you have to ask.

Interesting it was when we went from tolars to euros. Tea 100 tolars, next day 1 euro. Of course not only tea. So calculate yourselves how much it increased. Lp to all lovers of Šmarka. This of course didn't happen only on Smarna Gora.

As far as I know the WC is always unlocked and even heated, of course, if someone comes so early up there that they haven't unlocked it yet, then you really have to ask for it.

Does it make you need the WC up there because of high prices? Stay home, you'll save twice!

With just one tea it's hard to save much in life, today I paid 470€ just to cover beams, bed and two pillars with Siberian larch

You can save 470 € in one year with tea too. If tea on Šmarna is 1.5 € and you're there 313 times a year...and always "deny" yourself the tea...

Yeah, worth thinking about. On TV some smoker, later abstinent, saved 28 grand in 20 years for a studio + personal health.
