Franci, as expected. Such physical work is dishonorable for fine ladies and gentlemen. God forbid someone sees them picking up trash (maybe even their own). For them there is fitness studio, trim cabinet and recreation in nature where they can show off top recreational gear. Physical work is shameful and suitable for the lower class.
Hats off to the Ledineks for treating cleanup action participants with ričet.

Today foggy and wet. Not much mud on paths, since no larger amount of rain fell.

Morning from Vikrče via Pogačnikova to Grmada, then to Šmarna Gora and back to Vikrče via Peske. Weather foggy, cloudy and humid. Path otherwise OK, but roots and rocks slippery due to moisture. To top of Grmada met two hikers; to top of Šmarna G. a bit less than usual for Sunday at this time.
Conditions on climbing part of Pogačnikova path shown in attached "photo report".

In the morning can't sit on the terrace because black stinky smoke billows from the chimney. What the heck are they burning in the morning, since in Ljubljana despite morning rush cleaner air. And the telescope maybe they'll fix after long years, or someone stole it.

Wood really doesn't stink when you burn it, nothing else to burn up there. But need to stoke the stove cos they cook classic way, with wood.

I don't believe eco-aware Ledineks would sink to burning plastic bottles. On Šmarna Gora there are always enough visitors with mobiles. Response time of environmental services is very short. Probably poorer wood quality in kitchen as Franci figured.

Wood is never so "bad" that it would really stink. It's pretty funny when city folks discuss things they don't know.
OK, I wasn't there when it stank for Tinky, but hey, no wood stinks that much, even if smoke goes right into your nose, that you'd run behind a wall...

Tinky, I know the Ledineks since they came to Šmarna Gora and know they wouldn't do such a thing. Burning plastic bottles in the stove wouldn't even cross their mind, and I know they regularly haul them to the valley.

If not plastic bottles then some damp brushwood and other remnants of the previous cleanup action. Obviously not just firewood, because I doubt Tinky would complain about the smell for no reason.
