Dear Mr. Bobnar, I wonder (and probably I'm not the only one) what is the point of your Šmarna gora visit posts? Have you maybe thought about creating a "Šmarna gora" folder on your personal computer and archiving your impressions and photos of this hill's daily visits there, since I'm sure your daily reporting of your feats, considering that hand on heart Šmarna gora isn't exactly an attractive goal, doesn't interest wider crowds; from the logs maybe two, three forum users...

Wait, what do you mean it's not an attractive goal. It can totally be an attractive goal, just start the tour in Vikrčah and climb up Pogačnik's very demanding path first to Grmada and then to Šmarna gora.

Definitely congratulate tinky on his lifestyle. It benefits him for sure!
But daily posts are overkill and I doubt it serves anything but virtual friendships/acquaintances.
For info, it is enough to post when conditions change.
True though, useful info about needing to ask for the toilet key, so shy ones can relieve behind bush first.

Jan and SamoK, reality is exactly the opposite of what you write. Šmarka has the most visited peak in Slovenia and is the most attractive regarding visits. I don't know why but every time on hribi.net I click on Šmarka, my "home" hill. Maybe some % not going to Šmarka bothered by frequent posts, but daily many people view the pics. Then 2-3 negativists and can scare off the rest watchers.

To me Polhograjci much more preferred for varied tours, variety and peace, Šmarna only occasionally as tradition and nostalgia.

Viharnik, you are right. To me also Polhograjci much more preferred. Šmarna gora has no pull at all. Only the climbing route stands out.

Long live Šmarna gora, Golovec, Rašica and all not so "attractive paths" and praise to all who like to walk, move around in nature, discover new corners, even if they are not above 2000...I think the portal is meant for everyone who likes to be part of nature and not just those who go for the highest, boldest paths...

Everyone has their house hill that they visit more or less often. And if Vinko passes on these almost daily impressions to the forum too, there's nothing wrong with that.
I haven't seen Šmarna Gora in any other way than from the highway and from Vinko's photos yet. I'll have to visit it once.
