Darinka, it has adapted I agree with Bojan. Definitely not a venomous snake, you can see it from the head.

This year encountered a smooth snake below Srebrnjak that took a very "aggressive" position. It surprised me quite a bit too.
Yes, it's really a smooth snake in the picture.
The highest I've encountered locally is a viper, just under 2300m.

Today on the city hill, Pyramid, I noticed at least 5 specimens. Whether they were adders or grass snakes, I couldn't distinguish them, they were too fast..
