This viper was spotted today on the path from Planina Kal towards the saddle between Tolminski Kuk and Migovec. The rascal was completely stiff on the path at 3 degrees.

It looks like there are indeed a lot of snakes this year. I identified this one as an adder. Seen on Zelenica, at the hut, right by the table, smaller one though, I'd say.
