Although less than ten days have passed since the last long trip to the cauldron, I headed there again yesterday. In the 'night' minibus in Mojstrana I have six like-minded people. I hoped at least someone would turn behind Šlajmer into the forest, but one got off already behind Kukova špica, the others continued to Aljažev dom. Half an hour later, when the night was still dark and the forest opens a bit, headlamps are already flashing high in Tominškova, even more on the Triglav ridge. The morning wasn't as clear as last time, I awaited sunrise exactly at the same place, but eleven minutes later and more towards the southern horizon.
No one in front of me of course, just before Škrlatičina shoulder the versatile athlete Franci catches me. I hand him a quality PVC bag for the logbook to take to the top, I descend to the cauldron. I find a large enough boulder to lay out wet clothes, behind it a bottle of water since there's no snow left anywhere. With a light pack I'm bouncier, but the route above the short scree grounds me, as there's an incredible amount of scree on the rocks and I had to clean it with hands often to continue safely. . While taking photos at the top I messed up phone settings, the guy fixes it instantly, very grateful for that. Short stop in cauldron and back to Škrlatičina shoulder. Didn't feel like going to top as I was there last time, also gave the bag to buddy in morning. The mentioned peg just below 'selfie' section someone fixed so much it doesn't wiggle anymore, but needs long-term fix as it's in dangerous wall area.
Since time window was still wide open, planned via Rdeča škrbina to Dolkovo špico, but peaks were misting up, so straight down. At 5.15h bus half full, mostly tourists.

Just below summit picked up dark blue Black Diamond climbing sling lying on ground. Happy to return to owner.
