Is the path over Kališče to Storžič dry?

Today in the fifth gully super conditions. On the summit there's a bit of wind-drifted snow, but no crisis. Through the scree to the route entrance it sinks to the knees. At the entrance to Kramar route it's quite dry, how it is further, I don't know.

Has anyone gone up from Kališče recently? Is the track made?

If anyone goes this week via Kramarica or Cankarjeva (or another nearby route), I'd appreciate some info. Thanks and best.

Today to summit via Kališče. Super conditions and only a bit windy. Track made, but also hard and under strongly drifted summit a bit icy. Without crampons and ice axe currently no way. Greetings.

Given that someone recently needed 8 hours for ascent and descent, we assume it's not exactly fun in it? ...also in Begunjščica all "harder" routes/gullies are more for tender souls

Fun is there, you just have to make it. Today with a buddy through it. Jumps are dry but the gully is hard. Also exit flank and everything in between. Exit to ridge is dry but doable via tongues without touching rock. First jump bypassed left in great mix, jump under bivouac isn't a jump but great snow band. Traverse from one gully to another is quite airy and little or no snow, jump under Razvaline is great. We descended via Fifth Gully.

Wow, Matej, Nobel! Can you forward some description or link to the technology for making such an image?

Good to have a camera with a bit more optical zoom (mine is only 200 mm). Easier with a tripod, then at max zoom photograph the thing in parts. Nice if all images have same camera settings, even test a bit before (I screwed that, had on AUTO, that's why image is patchy). Easiest to merge images in Photoshop with 'automate->photomerge'. If few images throw them all in at once, if many first merge in strips then strips together. That's it if interested more write privately, assume not everyone cares .

Many thanks. Don't have such strong zoom, but will try next time. Given the pluses (not to say likes ) that hribi.net readers gave you, the procedure probably interests more than just me. Safe in the mountains!
