Tips for a multi-day trip

IgorZlodej,
you scared him off completely. Rombon is off and sadly romance by the water too.
How will he reach Rombon if even Italians haven't conquered it and since they didn't get up, they'd hunt him around the lake.

I checked the tour on the link miha188 gave in the first description, which they chose as the first. Apparently people head to high mountains based on such light and imprecise descriptions.

Weekend trip in mountains - please suggest.
Lately we've been excited about our mountains. So far we've done some day hikes. Now a two-day trip tempts us. Option Saturday-Sunday.
Looking for suggestions what to link in two days. Since collecting stamps of Slovenian Mountain Trail it'd be nice to connect stamp locationsnasmeh Fitness no issue, hill no issue, but easy marked paths, no climbing feats nasmeh

Thanks for suggestions!

Since you're collecting SPP stamps, also read the SPP Guide. For traversing that path everything is nicely written there. The forum is just for checking current conditions on the selected path section.

Karawanks (Stol, Vrtača, Begunjščica, ...) KSA (Grintovec, Kalški greben, Skuta, Brana, Planjava, Ojstrica, Lučki dedec, Veliki vrh, ....) Julian Alps (seven lakes, Zelnarica, Veliko Špičje, Kanjavec, Stogi, Mišelj vrh, Tosc, Veliki Draški vrh, Mali D.V, Viševnik....)

Start at Planina Blato, over Štapce to Tičarica, Kopica and Zelnarica, then sleep at Prehodavci. Then over Komna and Bogatin to Lanževica, return, and then over Komna back to Bohinj. Don't know about circular paths though.
Good luck.

Planning is also part of mountaineering, not just walking! That's a very interesting part for me! During the week in the evenings I look at hribi.net and plan (even one-day) trips to make the best use of the weekend or outing!

You always plan the path according to your abilities!
Because what you can do in one day, maybe others can't!

There are many guides and maps on the market - use them!(http://www.pzs.si/trgovina.php;
http://www.pzs.si/izdelek.php?pid=351)

You can also find a lot of useful stuff online:
http://www.pespoti.si/spp.php
And more can be found!

Among the nicer two-day trips for me was Krn. You ascend from Lepena towards evening, overnight at Koča na Krnskih jezerih (very nice hut with hot water and good food), next day to Krn!

best regards ales

As @katty suggests, but with a suggestion for a circular path (skip Lanževica and add Pršivec)
From Dom na Komni continue towards Črno jezero, partially bypass it towards Komarča, then left towards Planina Viševnik, ascent to Pršivec and back to Planina pri jezeru and return to the car at Planina Blato. For sleeping I suggest Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih, as it's somehow more "in the middle" of the path!
First day about nine and a half, second day about eight and a half hours of walking.

In summer, when conditions allow, my husband and I want to go on a multi-day tour in Kamnik-Savinja Alps or Julian Alps (two or three-day tour, maybe even a bit longer). I would sincerely appreciate advice on where to go. We're not spring chickens anymore (both over 50), but we're quite fit, as we hike regularly whenever weather or work duties allow. Eagerly awaiting your suggestions and thank you in advance.

Start in Kamniška Bistrica and go to Ojstrica, continue over Planjava to Kamniško sedlo. Here you can end the first day, or before night do the ascent to Brana. In the morning continue over Turska gora, Skuta, Dolgi hrbet and Grintovec. Finish over Kokrško sedlo, back to Kamniška Bistrica. The tour can also be multi-day, as there's also the hut at Korošica in between...

Big thanks for the first advice, tslok1! We'll definitely study it with my husband. But eagerly waiting for some more suggestions.

We also plan to cross KSA this year. Start Robanov kot, Ojstrica. Planjava, Brana, Turska, Skuta, Grintovec, and end at Jezersko. There are quite a few huts in between, at Jezersko there's a nice picnic spot, for one more day to relax

I prefer starting in Logar Valley, then over Okrešelj. From there so many beautiful options, can't list them all, from easier to more demanding hikes. Or from Robanov Kot over Molička Planina, Ojstrica and on over Planjava to Kamniško Sedlo (well, above Okrešelj again). In these parts there's a bit of everything: for soul and body, and in huts something to eat too. Good luck wherever you go.

Wow, quite some tips! I'll add my suggestion! I did this tour in 13 and it was great. Start in Savica (Bohinj), over Komarča past Black Lake, over Planina Viševnik to Planina pri Jezeru. Second day over Dedno Polje to Koča na Prehodavcih. Third day (it was raining lightly all day, but still wonderful) along Valley of Triglav Lakes with stop at hut at Tr. Lakes and to Komna. Fourth day over Lepa Komna past hut at Krn Lake, on to Krn and back to hut. Fifth day return with stop at hut under Bogatin and past Komna to Savica. Let me add, for two this is one of the nicest hiking routes I've done. Hiking, I mean. Not demanding but plenty of walking each day and overall. In season, it was August then, smart to reserve beds in advance. Enjoy!

Bohinjska Bistrica Črna Prst - Rodica - Vogel - Razor Planina - Komna - Savica and by bus back to Bohinjska Bistrica nasmeh Or extension Komna - Black Lake - Komarča - Savica (shorter variant) or extension Komna - Black Lake (past Jagrova Skala) - Planina Viševnik - Planina pri Jezeru - Vogar - Stara Fužina - Ribčev Laz and bus to Bistrica (that's a loop around Bohinj Lake - longer hill variant) jezik

Valerija112! Kamnik-Savinja Alps also interest me, unfortunately I don't know them yet. You mentioned Okrešelj. I'd be very grateful if you'd write where you'd go from there if it was your first time like mine, or which tour for your soul you'd do if you had three or four days. Let me mention I'm over 50. I love mountains a lot, not extreme stuff.

I pick the slightly less demanding ones. I check difficulty in descriptions on this forum (not comments).
So for the soul you can sit in front of the hut at Okrešelj and enjoy the views!!!!!
1. Okrešelj-Kamniško Sedlo-Brana or Planjava
2. Okrešelj-Svinsko and Jezersko Sedlo-Ledinski Vrh-Baba, or to hut at Ledine and on to Czech Hut and to Vratca
3. Or on the other side Oljševa, Raduha
4. Strelovc from Logar Valley or Robanov Kot
5. Molička Planina and peaks around it
Great suggestions, just a bit too demanding for me, PV wrote them.
Have a good time wherever you go.
