Bbrina, interested in the descent over V.Dnina back to Vršič, was it hard to find that passage or can you briefly describe it. Thanks in advance!

After Travnik there's some scree or gravel, here the path is visible. At the end of Travnik and gravel on the left side on grassy ledges we just turned left onto Dnina and soon found a poorly visible trail with occasional yellow marks (yellow lines). You lose them sometimes but you cross nicely further. On picture 11 the passage to the last part to Mojstrovka is visible. Hope it works for you. LP

Today to Travnik. Start 7:00 from Vršič, to Mala Mojstrovka via Zupančičeva grapa (path well trodden), from Mala Mojstrovka to Velika and then ridge traverse to Travnik. Path along the ridge in good conditions (just a few jumps where you need to watch). From Travnik we descended and here started (also due to late hour-12:00) the more annoying part of the path. Snow holds in some sections, in others sinks to knees. On Mojstrovke a million people, otherwise excellent tour.

Yesterday with my better half along the ridge of Mojstrovke to Travnik. The path is mostly dry, some small snow patches can also be bypassed. The ridge is also dry, only very rarely did we encounter remains of fixed ropes that are still holding. Beautiful views all the time, of course they pulled most towards Jalovec, which shows the entire ridge path. Rest on Travnik, then descent of just under 300m to the foot of the ridge, where those well-known now quite faded yellow-orange markers on the rocks appear. Peace in these parts suits the chamois, of which we saw quite a few. For the conclusion I climbed the little-known Suh vrh 2109, my wife preferred to cheer for me from the foot. Nice circular tour, which requires stable weather. Pictures: http://www.petersfoto.si/thumbnails.php?album=datebrowse&date=2016-06-25 http://www.petersfoto.si

Thanks! Did you photograph us (picture 1) somewhere from Suh vrh?

Probably we (almost) met when you two were heading away. Namely, when we arrived at the foot of Suh vrh, we saw a couple lingering around there and then left?

Over the Mojstrovke to Travnik, could have gone to Jalovec too if you hadn't twisted your ankle... Away from the Vršič more or less tourist crowd, this went through my head: http://www.simonerjavec.com/2016/07/pocutiti-se-zivega.html Least pleasant part of the path is the return via Mala Mojstrovka to the summit, when most tourists are just ascending, the path is ''churned'' - worst below Vratci. The rest... enjoyment

Simon, I read your entry "to feel alive". Very nice and mature writing. Some of us reached such insights and feelings much later, but still. Safe travels on all paths. Regina

Simin, nicely written and I completely agree ...Many live, only some "feel alive" and it's nice if we are aware of that. Good luck on all paths of life
