No no, girls think they aren't pretty with a helmet on their head. Same song with cyclists.

I don't agree with that. In the heat the helmet just heats you up more.

When I read your statements about wearing a helmet, I get the impression that you skip the first pages in the guidebooks (books). All newer guidebooks have tips for safe travel in the mountains. The helmet should be on the head when moving in high mountains. The path via Plemenice is among the hardest secured paths with us, so excuses for not using a helmet are really out of place.

I agree guest, some are completely irresponsible, and heat is no excuse for not wearing a helmet...

True, but then you have your hairstyle ruined, and the BLUE curls aren't visible. When I look at our noble "Mountaineers" I feel that a high percentage have the helmet built-in.

Regardless of temperatures we wear the helmet where it's needed or we think it's good, we have it for our own safety. If for someone in hills-mountains the outer appearance matters more than safety, for us it's a makeup artist (there are more and more of them) not a mountaineer.

If a mountaineer "burdens" himself with a helmet, his weight increases by 0.7%. For 0.7% increased work it's in this case 12 height meters, that is 2 minutes (if you go on all fours). But we shouldn't spoil Tadeja's will, when Franc takes her on the tour they will surely be fully equipped!

I use a helmet only where there is actually real danger. For example on Grintovec via Kokrško sedlo, the helmet can't help you at all. If you move mostly on ridges, neither. But if you know the path will lead you into walls, under walls into vertical climbing sections, then it's worth having the helmet on your head. It's pointless to get upset because others don't wear helmets. Wear them yourselves, wish others a happy journey. Calm blood to all.

Head injuries are third in frequency of injuries in mountain accidents, but first in severity of injuries. Among causes of head injuries, falls are first, injuries from falling rocks are not so common. So: if we move on difficult and very difficult paths (or even easy ones in high mountains), let's put the helmet on regardless of whether something can fall on us or we hit something ourselves with it. Greetings from Mb; I'm also interested in what the path via Plemenice is like? Compared to Tominšek's path regarding difficulty, I'm interested in the section via Plemenice, we're planning to set off from Zadnjica valley tomorrow. Thanks in advance for the kindness.

Today on the 230th anniversary of the first ascent of Triglav I jumped via Plemenice to Triglav, it didn't go too well for me, so it took me a full 3 hours and 45 minutes. From Zadnjica in a nice fresh morning to Luknja, from there quickly up over. At the top of Plemenice I encounter the first snow, which is south-facing and not problematic, from the north it occasionally pulls quite annoyingly, and fog blows in too. The ascent over Triglav notch is somewhat more pleasant, some snow that's not worth mentioning, on the ridge it pulls quite a bit, so I don't stay long and already go down towards Kredarica, visit friends, and of course stop at Planika too, and I'm glad Anica is still healthy and up there, can't pass Dolič either. All stops take quite some time, but at 15:30 I'm already in the valley. As always nice, but so few people up there today that I thought it was October not August.
