Yeah, do you even have time to look around or do you just race?

I already forgot a bit, since it's been quite a few years since I did it. How long is that first ascent, because then I know it levels out slowly. LP

We went via Plemenice on Wednesday, 30 July this year from Vrata. The path at the beginning when you climb from Luknja (where there's the most climbing) is very well secured so no problem. Later it's very varied and less exposed, the protections are sparser - but no issue. Imagine, we met a Croat with a shepherd dog who were descending via Plemenice. The path via Plemenice is really full of enjoyment - views like in a fairy tale. Recommended.

Yes, really, the path via Plemenice is really full of pleasures. We climbed it on 30.8. this year. We were unlucky because there was fog at Luknja height, but when we got a bit higher it was gorgeous. Above Mojstrana a sea of fog, on the other side towards Zadnjica completely clear. Really unique! Luckily we didn't meet any doggies, but we met foreign tourists in sandals merrily scrambling towards Luknja and since the rock and cables were very slippery that day, I'm surprised there wasn't some slip.

Mountain colleagues plan to go via Plemenice to Daddy on Sunday, and I'm wondering if anyone has done this path recently and if the snow is still bothersome.

On Saturday, 27.7.2013, we set off to Triglav via Plemenice. We did the tour: Vrata - Luknja - Triglav (via Plemenice) - Kredarica (via Mali Triglav) - Dom Valentina Staniča (via Rž). The path via Plemenice is really super and at times adrenaline-pumping due to its variety We had self-belay kits with us, since safety first. The nicest part is when you can get really close to the Sphinx face and experience the beautiful view of the sheer wall below it Snow only needs to be crossed via the Western Triglav Plateau, but no winter gear needed. Pictures from the hike can be seen on the Planinsko društvo Matica Murska Sobota website: http://www.mojalbum.com/pdmaticams/20130727-triglav-cez-plemenice/aljazev-dom-v-vratih-v-objemu-severne-triglavske-stene/20959555

Yesterday, for the holiday, we went to Triglav via Plemenice. The path is super, incredibly beautiful and varied, it keeps changing all the time so despite the length it flies by. Luckily it was a cooler day and the sun was not burning all the time. There were few people on the path, but that changed dramatically at the junction with the Dolica path - at the top whole crowds, euphoria, people going nuts, naked dudes sitting around the tower, girls opening big beers. Kredarica was all booked, same in all surrounding huts, we without reservation, so we quickly headed down via Prag and for mouse's caught the remains of the day at the last "prag", then together with other exhausted people whose lights popped up in the dark, rolled to the parking lot.

Today in the reverse direction. Shortly after one from Vrata via Prag past Kredarica to the top to wait for sunrise. Return to Bovška škrbina and past Luknja back to Vrata. The path on difficult sections dry only below Morbegno there are still big patches that allow fast descent or annoy on ascent. Chamois this time not at Luknja.

Depends on what we're talking about now, some sports suspension and low-profile tires are out... it's not that very low...
