Interesting that now everyone climbs left over the larches (at least those who post). Isn't it better straight up to the White slabs? Then there's no such descent you mention.

Bravo Dejan and company, nice alpinistic ascent, nice pictures and obviously conditions aren't bad either ... I'm curious what ascent you did for your January "birthday", I don't believe you stayed home.

Last time there was talk that it's hard to get to Vrata with unplowed road.
Dejan just walked up the Slovenian to the top of Triglav. Not to mention his ascents from Kurja vas.
So with proper fitness it's not such a problem and there are still young ones keeping the tradition of past ascents.

No, well, hand on heart, nice and demanding tour, for this site called hribi.net maybe really "overkill". If it were described on some AO site where it fits better by difficulty, no way, there it would be a classic winter ascent of moderate difficulty and usual ski touring descent for Cmir. Access to Vrata valley is a nice winter walk, similar to trip to Tamar or Krnica, just a bit longer. So hats off for the wonderful tour, monument though I think the guy doesn't need, because he didn't do anything extraordinary that the enthusiasm of some suggests.

When reading the above note "classic winter ascent of moderate difficulty, usual ski touring descent for Cmir, nice winter walk to Vrata,...", all that holds. But when someone connects all that into a one-day tour, it's not like our couch blabbering. I can confirm that from my own experiences.
Bojan, no offense, if you already mentioned various Terminators and Grminators, then your last sentence also means that you must sprinkle yourself with ashes too, unless it was joking, which doesn't belong on this forum either.
Anyway, with such posts we drive away from the forum those who still post demanding tours here even if they better fit AO forums.

This site includes everything related to hills and mountains! Longer, shorter hikes, easier, harder tours, mountaineering and all other feats in nature! Don't be uptight! Diversity is welcome and no one, no step, is worthless! That's my opinion!
