On Saturday we plan to do the circular tour to Trupejevo poldne from Srednji vrh. From your previous reports I can't quite figure out how the loop goes, since we're not Gorenjci. Can you please help us. Are the paths well marked for someone who doesn't know them? And roughly how much time for the loop. Thanks everyone in advance

.. Grenaleva.... My doggie and I started at Srednji vrh past the houses left. See route description. Soon after Hlebanja house (sign above door) turn right, marked. Follow direction per description, which takes you past a hunting hut just before saddle. At saddle go left and straight up to Trupej. Right is Lepi vrh. For return decide where. Over saddle towards Kresišče and over Grajšca to hut Hladnik (pic 16) then walk back to car. That path also described. Or take the one we did. That goes under Lepi vrh, over saddle right and brings you to hut Hladnik too. We walked to saddle 2.30, to summit 0.30, back to hut 1.00 and to Srednji vrh 1.00 hr. Went slowly cuz doggie has injured back paw. And lots of enjoyment in these beautiful autumn colors and wonderful views

After arriving from Srednji vrh to the road at Železnica I would go to Blekova planina and then to Trupejevo poldne. Do I go back along the road towards Korensko sedlo and then right towards Blekova. If that's correct, how long do I need to Blekova and then to TP?

Janez, you're right; when you reach through Železnica to the transverse forest road, turn west, walk along the road for a while and then right to Blekova. About half an hour to Blekova will probably be enough. From Blekova then east to TP. But if you turn right already on the road, i.e. east, you come directly to the saddle between TP and Belimi pečmi, from the saddle to the summit.
If you have enough time available, the undoubtedly nicest variant is the following: Srednji vrh, along the valley of Hladnik stream to Koča za Lepim vrhom, planina Grajšca, Kresišče, then along the ridge as far as you like; over both Poldneva, Blekovo, Zajčnik, all the way to Vošca, from Vošca descent to Srednji vrh.

Thanks Edina. I have quite a lot of respect for unmarked paths, so I'm wondering if the descent from the saddle between TP and Lepi vrh towards Hladnik is orientationally demanding. If I'm right I go from the saddle towards MP, then Kresišče, Grajšca and via Hladnik to Srednji vrh. Is it possible to get lost here? Thanks in advance for the answer.

As I looked, this path is marked with Alpe Adria signs, but from the saddle it's more than three hours - I didn't understand where you want to leave the car - if under Blekova planina, then it's a tough loop back

From Srednji vrh you start past the cheese dairy Hlebanja and after about an hour and a half along the Jerman stream you meet the road, on which you must turn left (direct path goes straight through the meadow and is marked with Alep Adria signs, when you branch left, just follow the road). Walk west on the road about 2 km. The road then turns sharply right and after another 500m you reach a meadow. At the top of the meadow, about 5-10 minutes walk is Blekova planina. From it go east to TP about 40 minutes, a bit up, a bit down and straight along the ridge, it's nicely trodden. When you reach the top, continue on the path east, the path descends steeply for about 5-10 minutes to a fork: straight Bela peč, right back Železnica, left the path you want. This your route is marked further with Alpe Adria signs. Count on good 6 hours altogether.

Thanks for the answer - what about the path when you branch off from the Alpe Adria path (TP - Kresišče) downhill towards Hladnik - either through the Žlebnica valley or Grajščica - thanks in advance for the answer.

I haven't descended it, but it looked from the saddle nicely trodden and gravelly, not steep, then it turns around Bela peč into the valley, so actually instead of the valley along Železnica, you walk in the adjacent valley which is closer to the road to Kranjska Gora, if I say it generally
