Some of today's pics from the trail Koroška Bela-Valvasor Hut-Završnica. The trail to the hut is OK at the start, later a bit muddy, the annoying part of the trail in the last few minutes before the hut is very muddy and wet. The trail to Završnica is OK. Regards

About a week ago we paid at the lower parking with cash, as card payment at the barrier was not possible.

What does PZS have to do with municipal roads? Would you like hiking officials telling you what barrier to have after you put it up 5 years ago? You would probably tell them, if so, then maintain the road with your money too.

Now every road to starting points will be closed or paid. Prices are set by municipal bosses as they like. Anyway, empty mountain huts with high prices and poor offer will convince people to go elsewhere, where they welcome guests with open arms.

In this specific case Valvasor Lodge is not a starting point of hiking trails. Whoever wants to drive there, let them pay, of course. On the road manager's side it would be fair to earmark collected funds for anti-dust arrangement of this road.

By bike from Jesenice and along marked path from Koroška Bela to Valvasor Lodge, back past Završnica and across the lake towards Blejska Dobrava. Path from Koroška Bela mostly very muddy, except part of path on road. Lp

Through the forest, on such sections impossible by bike :)

Smolnik - Valvazor Lodge - Žirovniška planina - Zabreška planina - Turška jama - Hudič babo pere waterfall - yesterday 09.03.

parking by the lake in Završnica, this time without a parking fee

we were at Smolnik, looking back at it again

lots of wooden decorations here, really nice and nice surroundings

towards the Hudič babo pere waterfall, we missed the path at the beginning and later climbed out of the gully onto the right path

cliffs on both sides, between Gozdašnica and Verišami

I think that at this time the baba is more poorly washed

Conclusion of a good trip, we will return

Some more of my pics from yesterday's trail - Smolnik - Valvazor Lodge - Žirovniška planina - Zabreška planina - Turška jama - Hudič babo pere waterfall. We missed the path to the waterfall, no markings and currently very poor trail followability due to leaves on the path.

Valvazor Lodge - Žirovniška planina - Zabreška planina - Gozdašnica peak

Again in these interesting parts, but this time a bit different. Arrival by train is already something special, views during the ride also different, beautiful in the morning sun. To Valvazor a bit our own way, from Zabreška planina by advice of the guy in the hut, then along the way also to Gozdašnica, known for Turška jama and Hudič babo pere waterfall. But new goals have been born in these parts, next time nasmeh
