Was there last week (Wed/Thu). Hut is open every day of the week, road not drivable 'cause it's not plowed due to sledding. On the road it's a good hour's walk up ...

Yesterday on the path from Stol towards Valvasor Hut I lost Dior sunglasses. Please, if someone finds them, contact me at 030705572. It was a bit higher than those three benches where the viewpoint is.

The story isn't over yet and now that's not important. What the hutkeeper did wrong really interests me, since she had work up to the top of her head (she said so herself).

I just don't get why so much writing and talk about changing the hutkeeper in one hut, since changes happen constantly in most huts in SLO.
The owner always decides who to contract with, not petitions and guests. Same in the valley for hotels, camps or local pubs, no reason for mountains to be different. Saying the hutkeeper and partner being unemployed is a problem is complete nonsense, by that logic no one could be fired. With his references he'll likely get another quickly.
And so no one thinks it's a grudge. Always felt good at Valvasor Hut and don't see reason for change myself nor know one.
