This part of the initial path is still missing for me, then I have the ridge to Matkovo okno. Further, maybe sometime? They adapted today's tour to the weather conditions.

Palček plezalček, you'll have to go sometime from the interesting Kamnik corners also to "Matko's kingdom"...
I envy them too and at the same time wish them well.
With the variant for the diligent ones you got a beautiful view and a bit of scrambling.
I hope the weather will hold until Friday.

The weather forecast for yesterday afternoon was not the most promising, but I tried my luck anyway.
I parked in Kot at the ramp and headed straight up the scree. After roughly half an hour I arrived at the hunting hut and ascended the wide track to its end. The sunny entry into Matkov kot was soon spoiled by a mass of gray clouds, later it thundered and sprinkled.
From the end of the track I climbed pathless terrain straight up the steep slope, where a small ridgelet provides orientation, and some cairns can be found. On the ridge the view to Logarska Dolina opens up, after a few tens of meters of ascent I bypassed the (overly) steep ridge on a path along the Matkova (west) side and followed it to the next saddle. There the steep climb to the summit begins, the hardest part—grassy gully in the wall just below the forepeak—was dry, but great caution is essential there, especially on descent. The weather held, I enjoyed the views, and I even caught some sun on the surrounding peaks. I returned the same way.

This morning I drove to Logarska valley, the road from Solčava onwards is undergoing extensive (much needed) renovation. At the entrance I unfortunately found out they don't accept card payments. The friendly gentleman isn't to blame for the cancelled trip. We wished each other a nice day, I drove to the neighboring kingdom. In Matk there's extensive noise and traces of forestry work, they're also renovating the roof on Bajta. The roe deer I disturb doesn't calm down and persistently barks at me for more than five minutes. No internet connection, so I sit long on the meadow pondering where to go. On the clearing about 100m lower I find a passage upwards to not disturb people at work, then I bike up the forest track. On the saddle I catch my breath and read numerous carved inscriptions. I explore the slope towards Koran a bit and the left branch towards Logarska. Then anyway without backpack I hop the levels towards Veliki vrh. The passages are logical, which calms me. The gully under the summit doesn't seem dry enough for descent with my skills without protection. I sit long and sip peace on the precipitous tip just below the summit. On descent despite firm step I slip twice seriously. I return to the valley carefully. Haven't enjoyed so much without reaching the summit for a long time. Finally I'll believe myself there's something more in these parts Some pics if helpful for conditions.
P.s. hope not spoiler for pathless hikers - in upper serpentines of the track I rather followed head-created orientation from valley, but memory instruction to follow track straight confused me few minutes. Well, follow nose not letters

Will do, thanks for encouragement today I decided so because disturbed by thought that demanding summit was ad hoc/third choice. Then remembered experience month ago, when on similar gully in damp I flew up and shook down Matkov kot is great, but in my memories of Mrzla gora always evokes respect when planning trip. There is no such nasty obstacle to Koran from the saddle as to Veliki vrh, so on the next wet approach you might continue there. About an hour of pleasant exploring along and on the ridge awaits you.

Marjan, in one hour you're already at Savinjeka. To there, except for the flat ledge, there really are no more such exposed passages.
Otherwise it looks harder than it actually is. Of course, if it's wet, it's different.

8. 7. 2020:
This peak from the Logarska side has long tempted me. From the mountain hut up, through Ožgani kir and Nunsko sedlo. Success was somehow only half.
I hit the start nicely. Quite high up the path became a riddle for me. I couldn't find the continuation at all, so I went my own way. Higher up I reached the path again and followed it to the saddle and the summit.
On the summit I enjoyed the view and pondered how to descend without going the same way. So I started descending the other side and lower down, where the ridge levels out, turned to the Logarska side. A few meters lower I caught the path again, which led me through wonderful precipitous wilderness. Hats off to the hunters, where they have routed all their little paths.
At the Nunsko saddle, if it exists at all, the path ran out again. I searched everywhere, but couldn't find the continuation. So I had only one option again: to go my own way. Up there it's not easy, as the terrain can quickly close off with a precipice. It's so steep that even chamois have to grip with their horns. Luck was on my side this time and I didn't have to backtrack anywhere into the slope. I even reached the same end of the forest road. The missing path sections will be a reason for another visit.
I had a good time up there.

Photo 5: the little path that leads from the saddle under V.v. and the beeches marked with "L" brings you to Zabrložnica to the hunter hut. The path almost doesn't exist anymore; only the marked letters help.
