There are generally few hikers there. I myself wanted to go on that path yesterday, but out of caution I chose a less risky variant instead. I also recommend myself for information.

Yesterday the clouds tricked me a bit; the sun didn't show up at all despite the promising forecast.

Kriška Planina - Kompotela - Vrh Korena - over Ježa - Zvoh - Kriška Planina
Parking 10€ to the top, a bit lower 5. Snow to Kompotela starts in sections half an hour below the summit. It can be bypassed or gone over without problem. Across the ridge between Korenom and Zvoh wonderful views, only one part is problematic, I'd rather do it in reverse direction. Descent from Zvoh just knee pounding on cobblestones.
Weather sunny but windy. No need for snow gear until next snowfall.
Wonderful views of the other KSA.

The same happened to us mid-summer, on the path to Jezerca suddenly thick fog, you console yourself it'll be better higher up, in between the sun shone for a few minutes, but views zero for the whole tour (Kompotela and Košutna). Fog obviously brews often around these peaks

And even in the Julians there was apparently sun all day. Even on Sunday the same situation... sun on Jalovec, on the drive back the whole KSA in clouds.
