This would fit under general all topics - reports of such and other feats. But I'll put it under general... Not that I care, each answers for themselves. But on individual responsibility... I wouldn't. It's just that it raises the question for me how much we value the work of those striving to keep one more head whole.
I ask myself the question and get no answer: why does ARSO 3x a week publish DETAILED data on snow and avalanche conditions and past and predicted weather development, when it seems, judging by blind instinct, at least by the posts, no one heeds it?!?
Probably because they don't add the scale to the post...

We have clouds quite low. They look really menacing. Nanoško mountain range can't be seen; it's completely in clouds. And it's thundering on top of everything.

It was similar for the May holidays quite a few years back, around '76, older ones might know more precisely. The morning snow 10-15cm melted at once in the sunny afternoon, the water down the slope flowed like a brook.

At ours 15-20 cm, Polhograjsko hribovje, outside everything is frozen as the temperature is -1 and it's windy.
