Apolonija, with the early hour you've broken all records, I admit. This orchis under 3. reminds me of the May finger orchid. What do you say, Apolonija?! Nice that also under Ledinami the lady's slippers are waking up. I've also visited the sites there several times.

Zlatica, I say it could be, although it resembles even more the flesh-pink finger orchid (Dactylorhiza incarnata). But I'm interested in the lungwort under 2. I don't see buds, but I see larger serrated leaves like those of honesty. Brane, are the leaves from the same plant as the flowers? If so, it's perennial honesty (Lunaria rediviva). Do you agree, Brane, that on Zlatica's picture it's wood anemone and not trifoliate? That quarry, as I know, was abandoned years ago. Can one still get some piece of limestone? It's ideal for growing mountain plants.

The two of us collected five hobotnica pieces that are not too heavy. There are also larger ones but they are too heavy. The rock garden we'll build in the shape of a mountain with crevices and overhangs. Into so-called pockets we'll then plant plants which we mostly already have. Good drainage will be needed. Since it will be in the sun it will be suitable for sun-loving low plants - saxifrages, houseleeks, sandworts, stonecrops, campions, carnations, catchflies, alyssums, edelweiss, gentians and more will be found.

@velkavrh, then we'll come to the opening and each bring our own saxifrage, what do you say?

Regarding the anemone. It will be fine that Zlatica photographed wood anemone. We recognize it also by the leaves. In wood anemone the lobes of the leaf are equally sized, in the trifoliate anemone the middle lobe is larger than the two side ones. This feature I apparently overlooked. The rock garden won't be interesting yet this year, maybe next year at this time when it can be seen how the plants survived the winter, how they spread. Problem will probably be too much moisture, so good drainage-water runoff is really needed.

@velkavrh, that's practically perfect. I didn't know this Pyrenean cranesbill yet, but it's very nice to me. And of course the great yellow knapweed too. regards

Well, Apolonija, this tall rock-cress is another species after all, I thought it just had better growing conditions . And the cinquefoil really shone as if it was golden. Do they have slightly larger flowers, or does it just seem so to me? The Bohinj speedwell is also something different, Branko showed it in recent contributions, but you have to know the peculiarities. Thanks again.

zlatica, the alpine clover is alpine. I too often mix the terms alpine and mountain. We also have a bicolored one, but I don't know the difference. Similar species are the hairy fleabanes. These flower higher in the mountains.

Branko, thanks for the identification. I must say I don't know how you manage that. To me it was exactly like the one I found last time on Zelenica. The fleabanes are unfamiliar to me too. regards
