otiv, thanks. I think we'll have to forget about it. Primula daonensis is a variant of fringed primrose and as you wrote, bačo, it has a wavy margin. And it's sticky. Will you go look at it again soon so it doesn't wither? Now it really interests me. Smaller flowers because there are more of them???

Apolonija... Slightly smaller, that was all on the pic. I'm thinking maybe of going, dunno how with time... It will surely flower still this weekend.

Good morning! How nice to start the day with such flowers. Sticky carline and red knapweed are still waiting for their name. Lp

Maybe the flowers below have already wilted (bird's milk: globeflower or Pyrenean)

Vito, like this: a bit quickly 1 to 5 - yes, it's mountain silene. Recognized by characteristic leaves. 16-21. bloody lungwort. Forest blue and taller. The bloody one has long thin stems. 26-29 and 32- clustered bellflower. We can have it at home - cultivated. 35- common vetchling Of course they mow them. They just leave this slope unmowed. 38,42-44,70- upright speedwell 85-86- common campion 90-91- belongs among clovers

Hello Ornitolog! On the second picture it's hairy hawkweed, for the first I don't know, there are so many hawkweeds that one gets confused. I browsed a bit among hawkweeds and based on the number of involucral bracts found a similar flower named Carinthian hawkweed, only bothers me that yours has only one flower while Carinthian has more.

@ Katty The gentian you found a while ago, we went to check today on Anka's initiative from Idrija. We found the plant already at the end of flowering. No signs of crossing, since leaves and flowers are completely identical to Wulfen's gentian. The plant census at the site also shows no other gentian species. Interestingly, one stem bears 4 or even 5 flowers (usually two). Clearly a somewhat "wild-grown" Wulfen's gentian. We sent a specimen and photo documentation for analysis to professional botanists too. In case of different conclusion, we'll post it later of course. Definitely interesting find, glad someone notices something interesting in flowers. Your description was quite accurate, altitude is actually 80 m higher, from western saddle 10 min walk. Best Peter

@ Peter hello. Thanks for going to check this gentian and it seemed to me it could still be blooming, because we photographed it last Sunday if you need that photo too, when it's in full bloom, contact Katty. Best regards!

I would really appreciate the photo in full resolution. Today the flowers were already completely wilted. You can send it to ZS. Best Peter

I'm glad the riddle is (will be) solved. To me it's closest to Wulfen's gentian. I've seen it on photos with more than two flowers. Sometimes there's a spontaneous mutation or unusual conditions. Two years ago or last year Velkavrh for example photographed a buttercup with double flowers like Ranunculus repens pleniflorus. Such peculiarities are especially interesting, aren't they?
