Zlatica, thanks. But I wouldn't want to miss such joy and it wasn't just the primrose as the trump card, there was lots of other flowers too, just haven't managed to upload yet..... such beautiful days to stay home. Today we were at Orle and I found the first cuckooflowers, avens, goatsbeard etc... And butterflies obliged me so I could photograph them.

I don't know, Zlatica, it's a completely different color. Don't know the exact name of the lower hemp agrimony either. Maybe you know, Zlatica.

That marmot is also something special, genetically modified or something. Maybe someone knows what those formations on the chestnut are. Is it a disease?

Yesterday's and today's flower pics from Polhograjsko hribovje. Looking for Blagaj's wolfsbane, unsuccessfully, but found quite a few other interesting flowers . @otiv, as far as I know, the chestnut gall wasp made that on the leaves - invasive species destroying chestnuts across Europe.

Otiv, I only know that silenes can be various colors, from almost white to light and really dark violet. That's what it says on Zaplani.net too. As for the hemp agrimony, I think it's the five-leaved one, ..shame you didn't photo the lower leaves too. Otherwise the safest will be if Apolonija adds something. I'm still learning. The marmot is really more delicately different. .

Otiv, Zlatica is really right and also Majstro regarding the chestnut šiškarica, which came from Italy. Goodbye chestnuts. Majstro, has the blagajena already finished blooming? You found scented volčin, orlico, stately and helmeted kukavico. Nice!

@Apolonija, thanks for identifying the plants. Regarding blagajev volčin I'm not sure it's already finished blooming, I just didn't find it because I don't know the sites. I apparently need to step up a bit for info on exact locations .

Majstro, hello among flower lovers and thanks for the help. I've read something about chestnut šiškarica already, nothing good for chestnuts. Blagajev volčin prefers shade over scorching sun, that's why it grows in such parts of Polhograjska grmada. But it bloomed even earlier this year than last... so it really might be done blooming. I saw a lot of it this year, as well as the scented one, which grows in southern areas.
