otiv, under no. 5 is common primrose - I didn't know it until this year either, under no. 6 is alpine sea thrift - very common white flower. Under no. 1 is scarlet-red orchis - I haven't seen it myself yet. From the first set under no. 9 is daisy-leaved hawkweed - in mid and high mountains there are no daisies.

Very beautiful mountain flowers and I see that some are very interested in them. I have had a pocket edition booklet for many years with flowers illustrated in their natural environment and a short description. They are arranged by colors (blue, yellow, red, white and green), so that you can find them more quickly in the booklet. The booklet has 420 flowers illustrated and described. The title of the booklet is Alpine Flowers by Wolfgang Lippert, published by Cankarjeva založba in distant 1987. I hope there is some reprint. I wish you much enjoyment in admiring Alpine flowers.

I have it too, but I find there are quite a few more flowers than those in this guide. I'm already writing to Brane, thanks!

Vito, very nice pics. The first is spotted-flowered cuckoo-flower, the third is a gentian, the fourth is rock-jasmine.

@anka thanks and as we say "you are a real living lexicon" The first could also be called a little skirt, as it's full of "little skirts" if we look at it closely. Best regards

Velkavrh; The first bellflower from Jakob is peach-leaved, the second isn't the Bolognese one, which it is I couldn't say, sixth and seventh are arnica. Fifth rock-saxifrage from Planjava is humulus-like, awns in buds, first hawkweed isn't spindle-shaped, pale globeflower is Bavarian, on the way to shepherds is thick-leaved thistle.

Anka, thanks! On Jakob's pics I accidentally uploaded a bellflower pic from Jošt. There was also such one on Jakob already by the road at the parking. It is listed in the literature. About 40-50 cm high and has drooping flowers around the stem – above 1000 m there isn't it.

Anka, please for a description. I mark all photographed flowers, but those two from last spring hike to Črno prst bother me.

Nice flowers ... but one must distinguish between marmots and marmot watchers. The difference is ... LP!
