Yes, such surprises of "winter flowers" whether colorful or just green are the nicest, right?

What is shyly hiding on the last bottom picture? Where did you take it? When I didn't enlarge the picture, I thought it was a flower of some garden trumpet.

I think the third picture from francimedved is bloody cranesbill.

Brane, which bloody cranesbill do you have in mind? Which one in your opinion has such leaves? Is the flower characteristic? Franci, please help, where, when was this plant photographed? Do you have any other shots?

I have some more pictures. This little flower grows in my garden. I don't know what it's called, I think it's some kind of garden variety of bloody cranesbill. I got it when the neighbor threw all these little flowers out of her garden into the trash. I picked it from the dumpster and planted some remnants of this flower in every old boot container. The next year it spread as shown in the photo. Now that it's winter it blooms a flower here and there.

Franci, thanks for your effort. How nicely it blooms in your pictures. It seemed to me they must be cushions. The plant is not bloody cranesbill, but it's called aubrietia. It belongs to the crucifer family and not like bloody cranesbill among geraniums. I thought of it too because of the shape, color and leaf hairiness and because it blooms early. But since it seemed to me the flower on your top picture has five petals, one hidden behind the leaf, I dropped that idea. Well, now the puzzle is solved. Thanks for the help and best regards
