Super peter2! This coming Thursday I'm visiting my colleague hut keeper at planina Za Liscem and on to Črno prst. Do you know if the upper road is open? Last year I hiked a solid hour on gravel because it was closed for logging. Years ago I saw Mayer's sedge here for the first time. Widder's primrose I first found a couple years ago on Velem polje below Vodnikov dom. Red primroses I can't distinguish. I think I know bicolored because lighter below. Moisture-loving I find often, Janez's I can't separate from the other two reds. Net-veined willow and low rush I find often. Triglav marmot I know well. Alpine pipsissewa I saw couple years ago on Veliki Špič. Triglav gentian I find every year. 8-9 Aug going with club to Triglav via Plemenice - hope not too late for its bloom. Leafless moonwort I've seen but didn't recognize. Willow and rush I know.

Peter2 thanks for the wonderful flower challenge. Hope the weather helps and I can see this treasure with my own eyes. Especially glad about the orchids.

Brane, hi! Wolf cherry is at 9. And mistaken, not common bloodwort. I believe you know what 13 is, so you'll correct it yourself, right?

Apolonija thanks! Now I have named all the little flowers of Trnovska Planota where we rarely go.

Some flowers from the path from Komna to Tolminski Kuk. Please help with naming the rockjasmine. Thanks and best regards

Correcting the knapweed name. Not pink, but headed. Adding a slightly worse picture of the clustered knapweed and wilted hawkweed.

Zvonček, very nice flower pictures you gave us and you know them well too. You realized the knapweed has a little beak so it's headed, not pink. The rockjasmine is probably hairy. Best regards

Apolonija, thanks, and not just for the rockjasmine name . I immediately recognized the headed rockjasmine and mistakenly wrote pink when uploading pics. Best regards

Bravo, Zvonček! Darinka4, this roseroot is interesting, right? Curious if the rhizomes really smell like carnations. Yours is a female plant as it produces seeds, if I see right.

I didn't know roseroot is female. Actually there were lots of them on the path to Vodnikov dom. I didn't smell it. Maybe next time.

Yes, roseroot has male and female plants. Of course the females are prettier, haha.

Males are more charming though...
